In October 2021 we took a trip to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Great Smoky Mountains National Forest. Follow along as we visit Anakeesta, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Hillbilly Golf, Wonderworks, and some beautiful hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Haha! Steve definitely enjoyed Wonderworks! I (Joanna) did too! The ropes course was awesome! I wish we could have gotten that on video.

It probably depends on everything you want to do. You could easily spend a week here and not do everything.

What is letter of intent? We homeschool and my wife was homeschooled, so she has been around it since the 80's , and we have never head of that.

When you first register for homeschooling, you submit a letter of intent to homeschool with your county’s school board. So they know what type of education your child will be receiving.

@@McVeyMcFarm Oh, ok, thanks for the info. What state(s)? That's never been a thing here. I guess that's why I have never heard of it. We also don't have to register for home school or have county school boards. Thanks for the tip though. We were looking at the prices, and it is a significant difference!

@@Caderic I know we've had to submit a letter of intent to homeschool in both Florida and Georgia. Are you located in the US?

@@Caderic From what I've heard, Texas has some of the most relaxed homeschooling laws in the country. Consider yourself lucky!
