In today's video, we head to Orlando to check out a very cool botanical garden in Central Florida called Harry P Leu Gardens. This place is huge! First off, we have a reciprocal pass through our Bok Tower Gardens membership so we are able to get in for free which is awesome. The gardens are nearly 50 acres and have a ton of tropical and regular plants as well as huge trees and a lake. When checking in at the front, there is a scavenger hunt map that you can get so we decided to do it. At first, we didn't really know where to go or what we were looking for but later on, we finally figured it out. They put letters in front of certain plants and you have to go find those letters and then mark off the plant that is next to it. It turned out to be really fun and overall gave us something to do rather than just walk around. The place is beautiful and it took us about an hour and a half. We were late on seeing the Leu estate so we will have to go back to tour that. There are a lot of great photo ops here and also there are a lot of weddings that go on there. They did have a popsicle stand and we were able to get some and they were so good! It was called Peak Season Pops. The link is below on for the popsicle page. Overall, if you are looking for outdoor things to do in Central Florida (Orlando area) and you don't want to go to a theme park but would rather experience a botanical garden, check out Harry P Leu Gardens in Orlando and spend a couple hours enjoying nature.
