I swear you're the best at being aware of potential thoughts and questions a student might have. I followed the strumming pattern for the most part, but also mixed it up a bit, then sure enough when you get to the play through you mentioned "don't worry too much about going exactly by the strumming pattern I showed you, do what feels right." Also the "if you can't reach just play the base notes." I'm trying to learn this on a large guitar and the stretching isn't happening, but I can at least do it on my LX1E. I just love the added part to help if you can't.

for the intro .. with capo on 1 . all on e string .something like. 5 hammer to 7th slide to 3 ! like three times. last hammer on 5 to 7 then 8 7 back to 5! also with the studio version .

Dave was spying on Ed Sheeran when he made Afterglow. That's how he made the tutorial of it in a few hours. It took Dave weeks to make a tutorial of Visiting Hours because he didn't have the tickets to go there 😂
