You diasporians have a negative expectation of Jamaica.Come on man ,that's Jamaica you will get your dose of negativity,( on the other on ).So much positive improvements have taken place in Jamaica since y'all left .Unnu just too negative and always hyper focusw on Jamaica's negatives.I have heard you yourself complain about Canada but all of a sudden Canada is "perfect " . Give Jamaica a break man .Maybe because I've been traveling outside of Jamaica since I was 5 ,but you must put things into perspective and stop over exaggerate Jamaica's issues Welcome home .

Proud of you guys. You don't need to explain anything to anyone. You both are successful so continue to enjoy the fruits of your labor. You have put in the hard work up front, made the sacrifices, delayed the gratification and it has worked out great. Take is from a Manchester country boy went to college and still living in the US who did the same thing and I have no regrets. Catching up was a lot more fun with all the hard work done.

Same thing I talk about family....Born and griw up in Jamaica..migrate for decades and came to to Jamaica and see the same infrastructure..there same way only Highway and Hotels..Jah Jah
I live in canada n I understand not going to vacation it's expensive especially when you're trying to build. Those ppl that take trips q3 months they need to tell me where they getting the money
This was I last year mid November. For the past 6 years, Born Jamaican, but things haven't been the same at all. Right time goes on, and things will change, but I'm still in shock. Just to highlight one of many, that happened while I was there. I stop to get gas and give the wrong dollar bill money. I drove off and realized that the gas wasn't accurate. I pull around and ready to say hey whats up with my Gas. The pump attendant said you gave me such an amount of cash, etc. I'm like, oh no, I do apologize. Ahaha wasn't paying attention, and the color of the cash got I confused 😂 I felt away, but I explained it has been so long. From that, I paid great attention to the numbers and not the color of the money
