The square and just a few feet down wind is the Raol Wallenberg monument. Saved jews during the last breath of the Third Reich, and perished in the hands of the russians gor his troubles. He was made an honorary US citizen. One of only six persons so honored by congress.

Are you considering producing music now? That museum looks like a unique place, good find! The walking must be unusual for you, but you are getting the full experience of the city and culture that way! I would love to go to the Museums, an incredible living history! 😍
Hey Dar, if you liked the museum of wrecks, they also have a a website with a nice interactive map showing where all the wrecks were found, and some information about them. For example, they found the Vasa's sister ship called "Äpplet" (The apple) a few years ago, no plans to bring her up, but just interesting to now where rests.
About a month ago the weather was so nice here in Stockholm but these last two weeks suddenly became a bit colder with lots of rain and even hail.. shame but hope you enjoy Stockholm!
I am so glad you made it to Europe and Sweeden. And you chose well, with the museums. I also really want to visit the Vasa ship at some point. I am looking forward to see you exploring Denmark too. I wish my health was better, so I could have offered a guided tour by me and my husband, in Denmark. I am hoping that others might have. There is so much to see here, and I would have loved if we could show you. Getting someone with a car, to drive to the stuff out in the country, would have been ideal. Everything is close in Denmark, compared to sweeden and the states. So a few hours drive can take you half across the country. Anyway, I hope you are having an amazing trip.
