Great experiment and great review! Beautifully illustrates the exquisite tension between the needs and desires of the individual and of the collective....this is the fundamental issue that faces the whole of humanity....when we learn sufficient about ourselves through this dynamic with others we will become self regulating and able to live together in relative peace and health. None of this can be imposed by central authority, it has to be hard won by all individuals. Well done folks!
Hello everyone from Russia!)) I am always looking forward to the news "Project Camp". Hope to visit the base in Portugal next year to learn more about recycling culture and technologies.

Hi Dave, I've been following all of your efforts for so long and love what you are achieving. I would like to look at coming to support you with the next step of this amazing project and wanted to know the best way to get in touch with you to talk about it? Thanks Ben
The website had tons of great resources when they were hiring for version 4, so I bet you can find what you’re looking for if you snoop around there for a bit 😊
Cleaning time is always ahot topic isn't? I've shared a flat with some friends and there were common discussions about not wanting to clean something hahaha
I wonder if a plastics community could make a floating island in the ocean, constantly expanding and maintaining the island using environmental plastic waste.
Nice to see feed back from the people what they like, don't like and miss. But if you had 10 houses for 50 people, why some people are sleeping in a shed? It was said to see those houses getting destroyed. A big (CO2) foot print for new houses.
@@OneArmyVideos OK, I understand. Can you tell me more about the scrap yard in Eindhoven you mentioned in one of your videos some time ago. I'd like to get in touch with them. So an e-mail address and/or telephone number is more than welcome.
I slept in the shed by choice, like people say later on in the video sometimes you need to get a bit of your own space and it was nice knowing that I could go to a place where nobody else would walk through or make noise, a little meditation spot
Why'd the houses get tore down? What a waste of resources unless building to use the volume better for longer term structures that will be new... I guess or natural or domesticated production place.
I can't wait to be part of this group. Currently, I am undertaking a master's thesis in plastic recycling. I will love to take this project to Africa, Ghana specifically. How do I get in touch with you guys. Any mail or number, WhatsApp, or medium to chat.
Why don't you setup some wifi repeaters and put wifi In all the houses? They are really cheap and could pay for themselves if you let some of your neighbors onto your wifi network.

this is all great and looks like fun. But how the hell do you pay for all of it? where is the money coming from? I wish i had masssive warehouse where i could do all the creative things i want to do but its not possible without hundreds of thousands of pounds. Dream on. Real world this isnt possible, so whats the secret? No one can live in a warehouse in UK even if you own it. The council keep all massive warehouses and buildings empty for tax and if you find one and enquire suddenly it becomes 50-£60,000 rent for a derelict building. Just to rent it! UK has so much red tape. Anyway good luck.
Hey Dave I wish to join your community.would you give me a chance to change this world, I'm eagerly waiting for your kind reply. Don't ignore this message please do reply.
@@mattiabe2598bit kinda disappointment 😞, but will be looking forward for your call. yeh I do change myself and others. glad you replied. Keep doing good.
The channel has become more about progress report...😒 We watch you from the other corner of the world....so we need regular inspirations. Please keep posting about new techniqs and ideas. Adios 🙏🙏🙏
Sry Man, but this video shows a lot of inspiration. Techniques of how to live in a group, how to share. What can possibly work and what might not work. I get that technical stuff about working with plastic is cool, but remember that apart from doing all that they are doing, they are also making this videos. There are plenty of other channels that talk about working with plastic too :)
My interpretation is that the world currently views plastic as this thing we have an inexhaustible amount of and that it's trash but Precious Plastic wants it to be treated more like rarity and reused. Lots of interesting things they've been able to achieve by choosing not to see plastic as something we can just throw away and buy more of.
