I came across this video after seeing you mention Red River in the comments of your new video. I have a lot of memories there too. Thanks for a great video.
My first time in Red River, I was 15 yrs old, my sister was 12, my brother was 9 and our other brother was 5. My Mom and Dad had rebuilt the engine in an old school bus and the tricked out the interior. What an awesome job they did. We'd traditionally gone to Colorado on summer vacation, but the bus couldn't handle the grades in Colorado so we started going to RR instead. I'm 73 now and my neices and nephews now take their kids to RR. This amounts to almost 50 years of family fun ! We all love Red River !
Nice tour of Red River town. I liked the bear carvings. All the wonderful architecture and colors make the town look happy. The motel in Taos looks awesome. I prefer old looking buildings over updated ones. Sleep well.
Thank you! Don't remember, probably a nice sound I found on an approved list with no copyright; which is a huge battle with every video. And I've produced 692 to date🙂
Thanks for the adventure to Red River! My parents, other family member & cousins would camp out in Red River & have a great time caming out in tents. This video brought back many good memories. Thank you again!🤗
I see you posted this in late June. Were you there at the same time as the annual Red River Family Encampment? It's a Christian thing with about 1000-1500 people.
Excellent Video! (&) ...as you decide perhaps to Retire in the future from your other Regular Job ; you will be able by then, to be over a 1000 Subscribers and Monetized! It may be slow going now ; but things shall pick up! It really shall I'm sure pay off in your future !)( Thank you for this important and wonderful Channel!)
Red River is an outdoor mountain playground, lots of fun things to do. That mountain hill, a little much for me too. We used to have a Bob's Big Boy Restaurant, that featured the iconic chubby boy, greeting everyone at the entrance. Funny how an object can trigger memories of family and friends gathering tigether to enjoy each others company over a good meal. I really liked the fast running stream with the benches placed nearby, a perfect place to sit to enjoy nature and reflect. You're so lucky, a staycation at an old style pueblo in Taos. I like the outdoot courtyards, very nice. The room reflects living that simple country life. Hope you slept well.
@@eclecticvideosvlogsandmore I worked for a non profit we use to do modifications on homes for the handicapped and disabled, so we worked all over the state. I have to say that Las Vegas New Mexico is really a nice place as well, especially if you drive north east towards mora. Most people go to see Santa Fe but there's so much more new Mexico is a really beautiful state except the southern part. There's not a whole lot to see in Los Cruces, Albuquerque, or Farmington it's hot and mostly desert, stick to the north eastern part...
