Hi Mark, this brought back a lot of memories for me! I lived in Shere in the late 1980's, you walked right near my old house, near the stream. I had some great nights in that pub (late teens). It was very quiet back in those days, nothing happened at all and it was so beautiful when it snowed! I used to get my Friday night bottle of wine at the shop! Little did I know it would end up being a famous film location! Oh and The Holiday is my favourite film! Loving vlogmas! 🥰🎄xx
I agree Mark, The Holiday is THE best Christmas film! I know it inside out, whether it’s shouting at Jasper Bloom through the telly or whispering the “berry kiss” scene! I recently saw a live orchestra version of the film where they play the film in a big theatre and have a massive orchestra play the score! Just loving your vlogmas series so much, I feel like I’m hanging out with you! ❤

My evening is made when Mark vlogmas is out. I feel the coziness, holidays, and winter all together. I also once again admire your solo trips and dining!! are you kidding it is the fun of it!! Personally I’ve been struggling going out alone with my own company and enjoying the best of it and you are really inspiring and encouraging me since day one, even if the vlogs are not long as long as you share with us even the tiniest bits of the holidays spirits around is enough.

"Schitt's Creek," is hilarious! I particularly love the designer wardrobe, unfortunately the series has ended. I was always hoping they would do a prequel and show their lives when they had lots of money.

I actually think these are the perfect length for daily vlogs, I love your longer vlogs when they are less regular, but shorter daily vlogs means I can keep up! Love your vlogs so much, thank you so much for doing them, they bring me so much joy and you are fabulous xxx

Hi Mark I went there on my own recently isn’t it lovely and the locals are so friendly. I stayed at the pub that is part of the coffee shop next door to the cottage I can thoroughly recommend the pub, the room and the food. Have a fab Christmas x

I feel exactly the same about Schitt's Creek. The first 3 to 6 episodes were off putting. If you can get through it, you will start to fall in love with the characters and you will want them to succeed and grow. One of my favorite shows for sure!

Omg The Holiday is absolutely top 5 for me. Like you're hard pressed to beat Muppet Christmas Carol in my book but I LOVE The Holiday. I once watched it with my friends and then when it finished we just started it over again 🤣🤣

my favourite christmas film is the Grinch (1999), I absolutely love the narration and I always put this film on when I'm putting up and decorating the tree, it had become a tradition for me
Funny you should mention the new film, it’s been the talk of the town, designed to make us think and if you heard the gov recently encourage us all to get batteries and candles and releases this film on that day, some believe it will happen then have a choice to continue the way we are or to go back to primal living as humans should be 🤷♀️ Than’s for taking us along to such a pretty little village
Mark, watch The Queens Gambit and The Bear! They are both excellent shows and easy to binge! Schitts Creek was difficult but it was worth the effort to keep watching.
Oh no you went the day after us! It's stunning isn't it - we also went to see the bridge that Cameron Diaz runs across and where they place the exterior of the cottage!
Mark you must look up 'the holiday in concert' I saw it at start of December, you watch the movie to a live orchestra and it's beautiful 😍 it's touring UK at mo so maybe they'll still be dates somewhere near you ❤ thanks for all the vlogmas

I used to be a hairdresser, one day I had a one-off blow dry client, she was the granddaughter of the cottage owners! Apparently Cameron Diaz was lovely and went to meet the children at a local school.
