We have heard Stephen Cognetti speak about his inspiration for Hell House LLC, but we never imagined that we would have the opportunity to see it in person. The story goes that as Stephen was driving through Rockland County in New York, he came upon an abandoned house that captivated his imagination and inspired him to write, what we now know as Hell House LLC. For us, this was an amazing opportunity to step inside Stephen’s imagination and to see where it all began. Please enjoy this short tour around his beautifully abandoned muse.

Just like the Waldorf this building is actually creepier looking from the side. I think I can see based on this old place why he was anxious to use the Waldorf. There's a similar vibe. Thanks again you two for doing what you do.

honestly I would live in that house if it wasn’t abandoned and rotting away, very quaint and honestly quite cottage-like, perfect for a person who would be a sorcerer if that stuff was real

The Josephine Hudson House. I pass it on my walk around Rockland Lake. This was once home to the ONLY female to be employed by the Knickerbocker Ice Company at Rockland Lake. She posed as Joe Hudson to secure the job.
