I grew up in Massachusetts. As teens, my friends and I would drive up to Queche Gorge in the early summer when the water is running a little higher and inner tube down the gorge. Beautiful location and great memories returning from watching your video. That was more than forty years ago. So nice to see it again after all these years.
I lived in this part of Vermont from 2004-2018 and you have done a wonderful job of capturing the scenic beauty of the state, especially Queechee Gorge. One of the things i appreciated about living there is how much the residents care about the land- did you notice the complete absence of outdoor advertising? Billboards are illegal in Vermont! I will be saving this video to my playlist. Ty
My wife and I really enjoy your traveling videos, very well done. We are getting too old to travel anymore but thanks be to you we still can travel and see the many beautiful sights in all these states! THANKS SO MUCH!
This was so beautiful! The fall colours are amazing and the houses are really pretty. Looking forward to more videos of this beautiful state. Well worth delaying the trip to just see those gorgeous colours 🍁
Hi Robert, waiting every Sunday to watch your Video. So amazing, your storytelling, road trips and all the information and voyage Tipps you gave the viewers. After two years of pandemic closures of the United States for Germans, I just booked my flight to San Francisco this summer 2022. My wife and my two daughters and me, we will have a great seven States road trip. See you on the road.👋🏾🐅🍻🇩🇪🇺🇸
I grew up in Ft.Lauderdale Fla. Oakland Park) - My mother and I moved to Bennington in 1984 when I was 15 y.o. because it was where my sister lived and where my mother had grown up…It was a culture shock, like stepping back in time almost, but people were so good to us and accepting ,and I grew to love it as my “second” home state. I really enjoyed watching this,as well as the other traveling videos you’ve done. It was cool to see Vt. from a Floridians point of view, just like I did when I first moved there .My father used to joke that there were signs when you entered saying “You are now leaving the United States and entering Vermont”😂
Robert, nunca me canso de ver tus videos. Me transportas a todos esos lugares. Es como estuviera allí mismo presente. Creo que los disfruto, por lo menos, tanto como tu aunque no estoy presente porque lo hago con uno o dos vasos de vino. Gracias hermano! Disfruto mucho tu canal. Cheers from sunny Puerto Rico.
Finally, Thank You for covering Vermont, my favorite state. Your videos are always high quality and helped me to sail through tough Pandemic times. Thank You Robert. Looking forward to see you owning a big Homestead in Arizona or Florida
Hello Robert…I have taken many groups via motor coach to this area “Fall Foliage Tour.” I’ve found the most color around 2nd week in October…..10th or so. We have stayed in White River Junction every time for 3 consecutive nights and then wander around both Vermont and N H. I’m enjoying your journey there. Familiar to me.
Always a fun time and too bad you missed the peak fall colors. You can see they are really close to blossoming into brilliant colors. Continue to have fun and producing great videos. Always be safe, my friend.
@@radkabuddy1112, I'm a Pelicanhead and have an early opportunity to watch the video on Wednesday. Become a member and you too can have early access. Take care.
Lovely way to wake up here while traveling along the gulf coast in TX. You sure have gotten the rainy days here in the northeast! Thanks Robert. I appreciate you.
Drome my Motorcycle from Chicago to Vermont for a week traveling all over the State. I have said that Vermont riding on a Bike was the Most Beautiful of all the States. I have been to all the States on the Motorcycle and each town was so cool.
Used to live in Albany, NY, and spent a bunch of time driving around Bennington up to Manchester, as well as trips to Woodstock. A little less so the northernmost spots although I’ve been to all of the. Hope you get to St Albans. I wanted to move there after I visited it. Also, Brattleboro is great.
First time I visited I got lost on a snowshoe hike. Did some photography and before I knew it I couldn't find where I entered the woods behind my air bnbs wood shed. Picked a direction and stuck with it. Luckily I came out to a dirt road. Rock art brewery was nice. I'd go back for sure.
Fantastic trip and video quality. One of your very best yet, you have become a master of road trips, no other channel exceeds you, no not one! IMHO Now if you can slow down and see some of the cool places that you are planning to come back to some day maybe that would be even greater, again, IMHO😁😁😁
Thank you Robert for yet another beautiful video. The amazing fall colours, the beautiful drone footage of the gorge and the lovely river flowing through it. Take care and have fun🤣😝😜
Watching this again. I really enjoyed it. I've been to VT many times. So excited to see the NH video coming soon. It was so nice meeting you guys. I'm hoping we will see you again someday.
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊😊🎸🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵🍔🍔🍔, I have seen all of Beautiful Vermont and I'm going to travel back to Burlington...such a SPECTACULAR small city with a really nice walkway along Lake Champlain. I'm looking forward to next week's footage. Great video Robert👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
I live in Bennington about 2miles from the monument. You missed Robert Frost's home in Benninton along 7A also Norman Rockwell's home and studio in Arlington just off of 7A before the Sugar Shack which also contains a small Rockwell museum!
This was fun to watch...we did the same things on Oct 5 only in reverse so we missed you by a couple hours LOL. Be glad you did Woodstock in the afternoon because it was bumper to bumper at lunchtime with long lines at the restaurants that were open. We ended up leaving and grabbing lunch just before arriving at Queeche Gorge. Great hike. Now wish we had done the hike on other side of bridge too, but we were trying to make our AirBNB place before dark so we kept going. Can't wait to see what you show around Stowe. We were up there while you were in the south having the same overcast damp weather. BTW we're Floridians too from near Myakka State Park.
I guess I'm Floridaist! LOL I got giddy when I saw ya walking in the palms during the ad portion ( yes I like the pretty Fall leaves falling too...I see them in Tallahassee most years! ) I've seen leaves change as late as Jan. in Tallahassee during a tepid winter like the winter 16-17. I know that was tepid because we only ran the heat twice the year we moved into our new house. The quicker they change the colder the year's gonna be I've figured that out. Fun. I think I could die from "second hand cold" LOL if I saw snow though! LOL ( mebbe not ).
Hi Robert, We stopped in Woodstock coming back from Smugglers Notch Resort and we had lunch at the Woodstock Inn. The Inn was beautiful and the food was excellent.
I am from Castleton, Vermont. And you really missed a scenic and true Vermont experience in that area - Lake Bomoseen, CSU, Bomoseen State Park, and a great meal located at the Bomoseen Lake House. Also, Scotch Hill Brewery is local and great pub food.
Hola Robert!!
Your videos are better than the travel channel! The farthest I have driven was from Boston to Memphis and the rain is not fun. You have given me the urge to take a car trip, but the gas prices are going crazy so maybe not this summer LOL
i love your videos its like iam on vacation with you its been abought 3 years since i have taken one so iam living vicariously through you thanks for sharing
Love that forest campsite. Robert. I’m thinking of getting an affordable RV but as a woman I’m concerned about muscle power connecting and disconnecting vehicles and managing all the maintenance checks on tires and stuff that you seem to do effortlessly
