For anyone who hasn't driven Mid Ohio in the rain: The dry line is like driving on ice when it's wet, that's why Robert is driving unusual lines. Impressive he was able to keep the car on track while learning a totally unfamiliar hand control system. But I expect no less from Wickens!
Great to see you finally getting back in a race car...and in the rain no less! Thank you for sharing this part of your journey and wow, that wheel is really something!
So good to see Robert. You picked a tough course in the rain no less. Nice rain line. Is the wheel a prototype specifically for you? Michael Johnson is or was in the series that you are testing the Veloster in so I was wondering if you compared what he uses to this wheel or if it is the same.
What, you weren't a fan of Wayne's handlebar setup? Obscure joking aside, great to see you in a car, just a shame it was around Mid-Ohio in the wet. All accounts I've heard peg it as a skating rink when there's water on it.
That is AWESOME! You have some very busy hands. :) Very cool the way the throttle is controlled with that silver center thing. I assume regular paddle shifter? How are you doing the braking?
