I really like the VSC git ui. Just 1 thing I would suggest is to make the commit tick mark a bit more obvious as it is more commonly used and right now, it is kinda mixed with other options. Maybe like the blue push button, it could show the commit button on top of all the committed files?
@@karlnassar8646If your projects only hello world type then its faster to use VSC. But once your projects goes way larger with a lot of peoples involved then VSC will just holding you back because more than often you'll be needing more advance commands.
i'm very used to git from terminal. can others who are like me tell me if it's worth installing the git extension on vscode? serious question btw. not trying to troll.
Or you can just save yourself the time and trouble of not understand git by just using git to handle git… git is arguably one of the most important skills for a developer to have. There is no reason to use tools like VSCode to give a false sense of understanding git. In the long run, tools like this will shoot yourself in the foot and waste time having to relearn git when you actually need to do some like like reflog, handle conflicts, or do a less than normal rebase.
Так ты что предлагаешь использовать обычный терминал? даже для сравнения файлов м изменениями? Да ладно я и там и тут могу работать но с визуальным способом буду эффективнее
