Do you know what the poly limit (essentially file size) is that V3D can handle for a 3D object? V3D often crashes with large files, but I don't know the limit. It also crashes with some files that are similar in size to files that are supplied w/ V3D but work fine. Any idea why there may be these crashing issues? Also, How do you add an object when there is already a segment (e.g. your example of adding a helmet to the head). Thanks!
Yes. You just need the .obj file. It is possible to create 3D object files through computer design software or for 3D printing, etc. and these same files can be used. However, I don't know how to do that and have always just searched online for free 3D files.
I have not created my own 3D objects, as I have always been able to find one for free online. However, all that is needed is the .onj file, so I assume any software that can create that would be okay.
