Thank you for this breakdown. I’m a new practitioner of the Nunchakus and these type of videos help tremendously. Do you have any videos or advise about good practice routines and how frequently you recommend practicing them? Any and all help is very much appreciated🙏🏽
I've been doing it on and off for a few years but I have found that in the past year I use them every day multiple times a day because they are always within reach. Waiting on bacon to cook? Start chuckin. Taking a break from reading? Start chuckin. I don't think of it as practice or setting aside a block of time. I just use every minute that I'm bored to go find my chucks. It's easy because it's just fun.
@@cremedelamemesupreme1649 Thank you for the feed back it’s reassuring because exactly what you described is what I find myself doing on a daily basis. I’m looking for a few different exercises, basics, that I can do through the day so I can track my progression of speed and handling in general. I’m always open to feedback, it’s much appreciated.
@@_GSIII I found the same success with guitar when I was younger. I was a big gamer so I would always keep my guitar near my chair and try to strum a few chords while the game was loading or during commercials or anything. And sometimes my focus would shift so hard I would just pause the game when it loaded and keep playing guitar. The key is just have the thing you wanna practice in a very easy to reach place so your brain doesn't have to do a single iota of preparation to get started.
There's a lot of people claiming both ways, but the truth of the matter is there's very little APPLIED testing, which is hard to do because you can't make people fight with weapons. I've seen convincing arguments for and against chucks. I think if nothing else, you can scare the shit out of people easier by ripping off some quick chuck moves. It's highly unpredictable compared to most weapons.
Yes on all of these. ...now would I win? That's an entirely different question 😏 that all comes down to a perfect combination of skill luck and chance. Now don't get me wrong on this, I'm a huge nunchaku guy, and I can appreciate and respect all aspects it's used for. However, it's just not practical for me to use in any sort of real situation, there's just too many other options to choose from before I go reaching for the chucks
