LOVE IT JASON! As a matter of fact Bro, I was LITERALLY JUST looking @ RETRO HOSTESS Snack packaging & cakes, "&" some old 80's Toys, & HOLY COW BRO, RIGHT IN THE FEELS!!😢😢😢
Great subject! Like so many others, GI Joe and morning cartoons in general were a true staple of my childhood. I think back on things like Trapper Keepers, sports or pop culture themed school supplies, book fairs, biking all over town in the summer, and rushing to get home before the glow of those street lights. Truly a wonderful time.
HE-MAN IS 120% what I thought of when You described the morals, & the learning a lesson, & especially at the end, with Prince Adam going over what happened in the episode, & then would tie in Our lesson! "I" personally WASN'T into the G.I. JOE cartoon, OR have many toys due to the LJN's, HE-MAN, VOLTRON, M.A.S.K. And that literally was My childhood! ESPECIALLY WWF! Thank You for again reinventing Your show Brother, & ALWAYS coming up with fresh ideas Man! You're the best! Cheers!🎙️🎬📻📽️❤️🎞️🥸
I loved GI Joe think about it, you're right. It was like a soap opera for us. I believe it was the first cartoon where one of our heroes could have died by getting shot when Duke got shot.
I loved GI Joe, it was known as Action Force over here, no idea why they changed the name. I had the cartoons and the movie on vhs, had tons of figures and vehicles and base, I used to play wrestling with my figures as you could bend them. Brings back so many memories.
