The VITA 6000MP does require an air hook-up. The compressor needs to be of good quality and large enough that during a press cycle the air supply to the 6000MP does not fall below 5-bar when someone uses the air supply at the same time. The air connector is to the regulator that comes with the 6000MP equipment. Now i have the vita 6000 mp for one month , good furnace , i just noticed that the most vaccum reached was 91% not more , cleaned everything , did a pressure test and it says ok ... is 91% normal ?
