Vital Bracelet BE Teardown 

I like that it's not so different from the original because a lot of people have been able to make cool shells with them. Not bad Bandai

A couple of notes I would like to point out: 1. This is still just SPLASH resistant. I would never recommend leaving this under running or still water 2. After testing the BE inside of my Vital Watch and Vital Pet shells, the speaker just magically started working again. The BE does fit the Vital watch shell flawlessly, and the vital Pet shell with a TINY bit of modification. Newer revisions will have this small change done so that it'll be a universal fit with every shell in the future! 4. Yes, I have a lot of grey hair.

Buttons I've posted about before, find them on LCSC: - XKB TS-1010-B-A - Shou Han TS24CA (slightly stiffer) Heart rate sensor module (just the chip) is Silan SC7A20, but good luck finding small quantities. Seems most of the places selling them are on Alibaba with most of or full reels.

I’ve had issues with modding because of the speakers in the past..the extra glue/plastic will def make it harder 🥲

If you have access to a solderstation with a hot air gun turning the temp to the lowest setting with a precision air tip helps soften the glue to ease the removal the speaker

I have 2 BE, 25th and Black version. The screen on black version keep flickering. Will try to teardown and reconnect screen cable, see it can help. or I have to live with it

That was a cool video, I was deciding whether or not to get one after I heard the issue of the lower button stop working after around 6 months, this seems like the fix could be fairly less difficult then I'd have imagined. 👍🏻

Weird question since I think the BE its on its way out, but could we make the device even slimmer? When looking at it from the side, I noticed that the fram that holds the screen is what gives the device a bit more thickness. I was wondering if maybe printing a smaller spacer could save a few millimeters, that coupled with a new housing to accommodate for the "new" space could probably shave off a few more millimeters. Could this theoritically be possible? I thought that even removing that spacer all together might work too, but then again there could be some short circuit whne the screen is that close to the pcb. Since the buttons are separated now and not connected by that thin piece of plastic, do you think it would be relatively simple to create replacement buttons with a 3D printer? I want to have different colored buttons since I got the VV with a moss green strap, but I don’t feel the red buttons work with this strap

Love your videos! I bought a v1 special version which finally arrived last week, but it seems like the heart sensor is busted 💀 I'm considering upgrading to a digivice v (not too much more expensive) or a vital hero (pretty expensive). I think the BE is way out of my budget unless the build quality itself is massively improved, hahaha. I'm having a hard time finding good information on the specific specs of the original vs the digivice v, and I've seen conflicting info on whether the heart rate sensor is actually improved or not. I've seen marketing for the vital hero that says improved sensor, but I'm not sure if that applies to the digivice v also (considering the hero seems mostly based on the v). I just watched your teardown of the v and you were under the impression it was the same sensor as the original - do you still think that's the case? I'm also open to busting mine open if that helps, I'm just not sure if/how I can fix it... It seems like you can't buy replacement sensors, you mentioned they are a custom chip? My green light is sometimes strong, sometimes dim, but never read a heartbeat once. I've tried every tape trick I can find, I'm not dark skinned, I can't get it to read anything even if I try and trick it 💀 I also read about your software mod of removing the need for heart rate at all, I'll be keeping an eye out on your store! It'd be nice not to have to bin my current one completely But yeah if you have any thoughts /suggestions I would massively appreciate your insight! Thanks for the videos and your time! 🙌✨

So by the sound of things, if I wanted a Vital Bracelet BE that had the logo off the Ghost Game Digivice it would take more than swapping the guts of a BE into the Digivice V, I'd need a custom faceplate made to fit the BE, is that about right?

We are at the 6-month window when the buttons start breaking down. Would really appreciate a tutorial for fixing the button. I see the parts cyanic provided and reaching out to a friend for some soldering tools.

What about replacing the charging port? I’m trying to get my be to charge and the port seems to be broken

I dropped my whole BE bracelet in my cat's water bowl. Quickly grab it out within like 3 seconds. But it was submerged completely. Still completely fine somehow. I almost cried.
