I started taking collagen peptides two and a half years ago. I started taking it because in the research I did, collagen supported skin elasticity. I was in the process of changing my diet and wanted my skin to have the chance to shrink as I did hoping to avoid excess skin at the end of my journey. And that was my original reason for taking it. I also have osteoarthritis. Knee pain was part of my life. I underwent Hyalgan shots but they didn't help. I spent the better part of two and a half decades being able to predict the weather and having significant pain as I stood, sat and walked. I had been taking the multi collagen peptides protein powder (1, 2, 3, 5 & 10) with vitamin c, biotin, hyaluronic acid for about four months when I noticed one day that I had no more pain while standing, sitting and walking. I also no longer had discomfort due to coming storms. I wasn't expecting that! My nails, which were strong to begin with, started growing faster and if possible became even stronger. My nails, especially my thumb nails, are now tools that I use instead of box cutters to open packages. Like you, I also have to file my nails at least two times a month and because of their strength, I have had to switch to using sandpaper as emery boards because I was going through emery boards at a ridiculous rate. My hair also grows faster and while not thicker, has seemed to become darker with less greys (but that may be from wishful thinking and the lighting in my bathroom). My skin has done exactly what I hoped it would do with my weight loss. The diet I chose was to cut out certain foods one at a time (like sugar and junk food) so that I could get used to living without one before removing another. I knew that this would take a while, but diets I have tried in the past (cutting out all the "bad" foods all at once) always failed due to cravings that ultimately resulted in failure. I have lost two dress sizes and thankfully, I don't have the excess skin that was also an issue in the past when I lost weight. Of all of the benefits that taking collagen has afforded me, I have to say that it's the lack of knee pain that will have me taking the product for the rest of my life (however long that may be). While my arthritis is still there, and while my knees don't work as well as I'd like, the lack of pain is still a great win in my opinion.
@@4tun8nanette I get mine from Amazon from a company called Zeal Naturals. It is in a black container (to help you find it in a search), it comes in chocolate (my favorite as I use it in my first coffee of the morning because... who doesn't love a good mocha coffee?), and unflavored if you're more of a juice person. The unflavored is just that... unflavored. Not like some things that claim to be unflavored but actually have a flavor. There are 45 servings per container and at 1 scoop (scoop is included), it will last a month and a half. I actually cannot recommend it enough, and no... I am not affiliated with the company and/or the product. I am just a very satisfied customer. I hope you do choose to use it, you won't be disappointed.
I forgot to add that after I started using this brand of collagen peptides, my hairbrush doesn't have hardly any amount of hair in it after brushing. I'm crediting that to the biotin that is included in the ingredients.
@JTJaredTaylor yeah I noticed your forehead wrinkles now flattern out immediately, where as in the before they'd remain for longer . This is a sign of increased collagen and elastin in your skin . And even wearing sunscreen now will give you skin a chance to heal from past damage.
I truly think there is a major difference in your skin , appearance etc since your first video mentioning collagen. Thanks as very straightforward mentioning possible side effects and also the pros. I hope that people are not rude or bashing you . Sounds like anything you do you certainly give 100 percent! ❤
Hello! I have been taking Vital proteins collagen for a year and a half. It started when I went to the doctor for my knee pain. He injected the knee with hyaluronic and told me I should perceive quick comfort, which I didn’t. After months, I read about collagen and gave it a try. My first results were nails and hair growing quicker. My hairdresser was surprised to see it! My skin has more glow, and the pain in my knee stopped!!! I am a pianist and need to cut my nails frequently, so I did not bother doing so. I am 70 and I will keep taking it as long as I live. It was great to know about your experience in the video, as it was the same as mine . Thank you!
One more thing even though today was day one . I actually feel very nice . I can't wait until .9am taking it again😂 twice I'm sticking to my plain as I was already taking vitamins. I have the small container cause I needed to see if I like it and I do and will be ordering big one once this runs out
Some people can be so cruel! Who are they to call you old!? I don’t think you look old at all. I can actually see a difference as well from your other video to now. Your skin looks brighter, firmer & younger.
I agree with you, people are just straightforward mean and inconsiderate of other people's feelings!!. JTJared mentioned that he never used sunscreen before so his skin took some beatings from the sun causing him to look tired and aged. But look at his awesome transformation now, WOW!! I am sold! I am buying truckload of this collagen protein. Lol.. Peace to all.
I was on vital protein collagen for three years & switched too Garden of life. More protein & cost efficient and they can trace back to the very cow in came from, excellent product.
@@barbarachristensen1111 i was new to collagen and wasn’t noticing any difference after three months. I started eating salad (almost) everyday a couple years ago and saw big differences in a short amount of time with that alone. Yesterday, Dec 14th,marked the one year mark of my collagen journey and so far my joint issues have improved as well as my skins integrity.
I have been taking collagen for years! I’m 70 and when out with my husband people think he’s my father! When I’m out with my sisters they think I’m their daughter! I have zero wrinkles and I believe it’s the collagen!
I'm70. I've been taking care of my facial skin since I was 18. I also started taking collagen, the carnivore diet, continued yoga and weight lifting. I have NO wrinkles. My husband is 21 years younger than me, has grey hair and looks his age. My eyesight has gone from 20/400 to 25/40 because of the beef, butter, bacon and eggs carnivore diet. I have no ailments of any kind. 😁😁😁🇺🇸
I am 35, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis on my right knee a year ago. I had two hyaluronic acid shots in my knee, which definitely increased my mobility but I was still in pain, especially when I was trying to run a bit or walk faster. After three months of daily use of vital protein the pain was completely gone no matter what physical activity I had (gym, Pilates, long walks with my 3 dogs, using stairs and etc) During my summer vacation I decided to stop using vital protein collagen cause it wasn’t convenient, the pain got back and hit stronger then before. I started using again and I feel so healthy, strong and beautiful (my hair, skin, nails). I would definitely recommend to use this supplement consistently.
@@revathik9225 you are welcome, if you are having same issues I highly recommend that product from vital proteins. I wear heels, I run, I am very active with my 3 dogs, I hike, do Pilates daily. I would also add anti-inflammatory foods in your diet. You have to understand that healing of your body takes time and effort. Thank you for your lovely comment ❤️
I am 77. In the fall of 2022, I contracted Covid. After recovery and in January of 2023, my hair began falling out. I started taking Vital Proteins after a recommendation of a friend. Within four months, my hair began to grow back and became much thicker. I fully believe in this product. I don’t take it any longer, but considering my age, I believe I will start taking it again mainly for my skin and after some comments about better sleep, will try it for that. Thanks for sharing.
Covid was really hard on all of us one way or the other wasn't it? So glad you were able to find something that helped you. Thanks for sharing your experience here. I'm sure it will be helpful to others.
I have been using Vital Protein for at least 2 years daily. The first thing I noticed after awhile were my hair and nails growing. My nails and hair grew so slowly before this. People never believe that I’m now 70. They don’t believe I’m the mom of a 50 year old. I will say that my dad always looked younger than his age and I got that from him. I’ve never had joint pain or any joint replacements but have been an avid walker and exerciser all my life. I attribute my continued health and skin to the collagen. I will always use it!
Thanks for this honest take. I’ve been using collagen for 3-4 months and have been considering whether or not to continue so I’m glad this video popped onto my feed.
My wrinkles did not disappear whatsoever but I've been putting 4 teaspoons in my tea coffee cereal juice an I've noticed my cheek area looks smoother nice glow also my hair feels softer longer ,,, keep it up it's a pain the lid is I wish they would redo lid but it's not totally waist ,,it's pretty good!!!! I use alot sometimes 5 heaps of spoonfuls 💯(Tina Surratt good luck it's literally the only thing I've ever stuck with.
I LOVE that you show that your not getting paid to promote something your reviewing at the get go...Excellent video perfect for anyone who is starting to use it you answered all my questions.
His skin looks terrific, I think. Especially watching his earlier videos. I am using beef collagen peptides for a few weeks now. No real noticeable results except for feeling better in my gut almost immediately. That's a huge benefit. I am taking collagen peptides along with l-glutamine (empty stomach) and my gut health has changed from utterly dreadful to almost normal. Remembering what my life was like - it's hard to imagine I dealt with all that. For anyone looking to feel MUCH better, soon, take glutamine (I take 5gm 3 to 4 times a day in water) along with beef collagen peptides.
You definitely look younger than your first video so whoever said you look old they are not paying attention. There’s definitely a difference in the videos! Kudos to you!
Im 60 and been using collagen every day for 6 months. A dodgy knee is now much better. Maybe slight improvement in a few wrinkles but major skin improvement may take a year or 2 Overall very happy to continue long term.
I always got plenty of protein from meat and dairy for maintaining muscle but adding collagen or collagen-containing foods makes a real difference for connective tissue maintenance in my experience.
Great point. I like that you're pointing out differences between different types of protein. I've heard from so many people that have said they really believe it has helped with their joints. Thanks for sharing your experience as well.
I also was taking collagen for about 9 months but then I had a hyperparathyroid problem & had to take a number of test My Dr told me not to take any supplements before the tests so I stopped taking them I was taking biotin & that made my PTH increase Anyway I had surgery & im all good I read to check if there was iodine in the vital proteins (which is what I was taking) and I don’t see that there is so I am after 4 months of not taking collagen my joints are aching & have noticed my skin is not looking like it was Needless to say I’m starting to take it tomorrow! There is a DEFINITE improvement for me upon taking it Oh & im 72 yrs young Enjoy your videos!!
Thank you for sharing your own personal experience and thanks for watching. I hope you are able to find some improvement in your joints and skin. Thanks again.
Good skincare and especially sunscreen has absolutely helped my skin after years of neglect. There are many things I have changed that make me look much younger. Runners always look older than others IMO.
Thanks Lisa. I finally started using sunscreen recently. I also got a moisturizer. So far I haven't been very good at using them every day but I'm working on being more consistent. Thanks again.
Thanks for mentioning the lack of a scooper in the new containers. I JUST opened one, and couldn't locate a scooper 😡 I used A LONG spoon.....stirring&stirring.....around&around, but never found a scooper. Now I know. Thanks again, and thanks for the video. I've watched videos from others, and the comments were similar. I also watched a video from someone else, and A LOT of the comments were throwing shade on collagen pepides? I loved how you mentioned intermittent fasting in your original video, as I've been doing 18/6 for a month so far. I'm not sure it it's the meat-based diet (not strict Carnivore), the fasting.....or what, but I can feel my hands again 🎉 I have Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. I was diagnosed in early 2016, but had symptoms before that. Im not 100% sure what was expecting from this product, but the comments are encouraging. I fell recently, and injured my foot. It's taken WEEKS to heal (but not 100%). I'm hoping collagen peptides help.
After a few months of taking it i could finally sleep on my right side after 6yrs of not being able to. If i did my disc would slip out & i couldnt walk. It stays put now & its amazing
Same here ..I make my own from Chicken feet or beef bone or pork bone and lamb bone . Clean them thoroughly then boil and simmer for hours .. add spices like bay leaf , black pepper, ginger, galangal root, tumeric etc and hondashi soup stock and miso paste in the end . Drink 1 cup in the morning and another in the evening. Yummy n Healthy ! I feel good drinking it. Collagen + probiotics I swear ..joint pains gone and bug relief on my hernia and hemorrhoids. 😊 I am 63 !!
Thanks for watching! And you're right. Thanks for pointing that out. Costco seems to have the streamlined version. At least the one thing they have in common is Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides.
I’m a 68 year old female and suffered with horrific leg and foot cramps at night. After five weeks of taking 2T of VP collagen daily, the cramps have completely stopped! (I bought the VP to help my skin and hair! ). I’m hooked. Thank you.
Jared, you don't have to apologize for the way that you look! We all get older, so why does everyone have to look like their 20 year old self? I have been taking Vital Protein for about 6 months now for my joint pain. It really has helped my joints.ile you, i was very active when i was younger, dance, mountain bike racing, kick boxing, weight lifting, and i guess that my joints have suffered because of it, (so one doctor told me)! I did not take it to look younger, but now that you mentioned it, my hair and nails have grown faster and stronger! My husband had a stroke, and after nearly 2 years, he still has issues with spasticity and pain. He is still taking quite a few prescribed medications, so I had to be careful what to give him as supplements. Apparently, collegen is one that I couldn't give him because of medication interaction. So it is not for everyone. But it has really helped me!
Thank you watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. I appreciate your encouragement and for sharing your own experience in detail. Glad it's helping. I'm also happy to hear that you've taken the time to do research for your and your husbands own specific situation. That's so important. What a great reminder. I wish you both well. Thank you again.
Great content and great editing! For me, marine collagen/peptides + hayluronic acid were working well for skin, hair, and joints (about a year of experience). Recently, I added "Living Silica" and did start noticing a bigger difference in hair and nails within a month.
Thank you. I'm so glad you liked the video. Thanks for sharing your experience as well. I like that you're taking hyaluronic acid and even adding silica. I'm glad to hear you're seeing even more improvements. Thanks again.
Im taking multiple supplements for skin, joint and hair health including: - Collagen - Hyaluronic acid - multivitamin - omega 3 - biotin + zinc + selenium - silica from horsetail - keratin - vitamin C I will tell you one thing, my legs are not hurt after 12 hours of work almost at all compared to when i was younger without supplements. I could feel the difference on my legs clearly
I take mine two seperate ways. If its gym day….I take it with my protein shake. On off days I put it in my coffee. I have used many brands but also mostly use Vital Proteins. The only actual effects I notice is that my hair and nails grow really fast…and my joints arent as achy and at 54 I have no crows feet or wrinkles. So I will continue to take it.
Dang, if its not a filtering thing I would say the difference is dramatic over the past couple years. I'm taking it for joint and gut issues but I have not been diligent. This is a nice reminder that it has benefits. Need to stick with the plan. Good info. BTW my fingernails have to be cut at least weekly. Same for hair growth - it's crazy fast. That's not anecdotal but fact. The joint and gut issues are a work in progress however. Just being honest.
Hi jgmullins1, No filters. But as you can see the lighting is harsher in the before video and I've been having issues with the auto-focus on my camera so that certainly plays into it. That said, it was the best thing I could find to give some idea of a "before and after". I see myself in the mirror every day and when I look back at that video I see a significant difference. That aside. Thanks for sharing your own experience. Sounds like you're experiencing some similar things with the hair and nails growing like crazy. I wish you luck on the gut and joint issues. I hope you see some improvement there. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.
Today, I took two spoonfuls of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides and dissolved it in a little water. I then took this and poured it into my almost full Jergens Ultra Healing 21 oz. bottle. I used the pump straw to mix it all together so now I'll be getting moisturizer and collagen when using. Adding the collagen on my cereal has hastened nail growth and makes hair grow faster but sadly does not fill in/repair hair loss for us 60+ males. I've not had any side effects but anyone's struggles with constipation can be alleviated with an inexpensive toilet seat bidet such as my Luxe brand Neo 120.
I have been adding this to my coffee for 3 years. I quit taking this exact brand for 3 months. My joints were hurting, my hair fell out and I lost 5 pounds. I suspect that it keeps some weight on me but now that I am back to using this in my coffee, my hair has quit falling out and my hips don’t hurt as much.
After washing my hair, I used to see a lot of hair in the shower. It took about 2 months of taking the collagen when the hair stopped falling out. My nails are also stronger. I take it in the morning in my coffee.
Wow. I just watched your 1 year collagen update and then watched this one immediately afterwards. Your skin looks so different!! It's a striking difference! It's glowing and your lines look shallower. I thought you'd like to know
@@JTJaredTaylor no problem! I have arthritis so I'm very interested in trying collagen out and seeing if it reduces pain. Hopefully🤞. I'm glad it's helped you either way
Thank you for sharing about the dosage. I have Vital Proteins and it says 4 Tbsp but it is too much for most drinks (for me). Plus it can be expensive and so using half the amount each serving is great
You're very welcome. It certainly adds up. Doesn't it? I was just thinking about that this morning. A smaller dose certainly makes it last longer. I'm glad you found it helpful.
I'm 60 and started consuming vital proteins collagen peptides last week. Hoping to keep some benefits. Will keep you posted. I walk 4-8 miles everyday but do it early in the morning as I've never enjoyed being out in the sun unless it's winter here in the northeast.
We all to respond differently when we take things, but I think in this case, if people could muscle through those initial symptoms that are irritating, they would find that eventually those side effects would go away because this is a purging effect that their body is feeling. The collagen is helping the body purge of toxins.
Please try Bulletproof collagen. It’s harder to get and more expensive. The bulletproof collagen adds a layer of production to my skin so I’m not so sensitive. I hate having to use collagen but I have too. I force my self to use it once a week.
This was great, thanks very much. But please don't compare pictures or videos with different lighting. I know it isn't your intent, but that is how scammers fool with before and after shots without otherwise manipulating the photos. As I once said after a hotel hot tub dip, gosh, in really really really really really low light, I still look 20!
You definitely look younger specially around and above the eye area which is a tough area to treat! Your eyelids look lifted! The other area is around the laughter lines, beyond the first natural line the secondary lines are almost gone. Neck has improved too.
I take several doses a day. Even up to 7 a day some days. It’s probably too much but I noticed the more I take the smoother and smoother my skin gets especially since I’ll be 50 in December. Not exaggerating but I look like I’m in my 30s. The guys in their 30s & 40s are getting me confused for their age. Been taking it since 11/2021. I take both bovine & marine. When I added the doses of marine along with the bovine I really noticed a huge difference. It works!
Be careful too much can make your skin become thick and like leather. Two scoops maximum per day and in cold water. Not hot. Or in soups food ect. It just turns to gelatin.
I can't buy "Vital proteins" collagen in my country (but I wish I could!!!), and international shipping for collagen feels like an expensive idea, so I've been buying hydrolyzed collagen that I can find here. I can honestly say it works for joint health, BUT you also have to do exercises and drop sugar and other junk food. This combination helps, not 100%, but 90%, I'd say, which is fine. I wish it was sold in many more countries because I've read great things about this specific brand.
Dude, I'm just like you! I was also a hard-core rock climber in my youth for 14 years, baking in the sun constantly. Now at 67, I no longer do that of course, but I do like extreme hiking (like you), and have noticed my knees are taking a real pounding lately (like yours). Will try the collagen per your recommendation. Thanks!
Awesome! Always good to meet another climber! Even if neither of us actually "climb" anymore. 😁 I keep thinking about it, and I've taught a couple of climbing and rappelling classes for a few youth groups, but just haven't gotten around to doing any myself. But hiking? I'm there. Been doing a LOT of that. I hope you see some improvements taking collagen. I didn't notice anything dramatic but I did notice it and I'm very happy about it. So much so that I keep taking it. On a side note reducing or nearly eliminating sugar and processed foods from my diet made a huge difference in reducing all of my aches and pains. Collagen just took it to the next level.
Collagen will be absorbed better by the body with some type of citric acid from either a lemon or a lime according to a study I saw several years ago. I mix mine with lime juice.
Hi Morgan9814, Yes - I am planning a video on that soon. To answer your question. I usually take NMN (holding off on this currently but starting again soon), Creatine, TMG, GlyNAC, Collagen, Whey Protein, hyaluronic acid, saw palmetto (my hair is falling out), vitamin D, vitamin K2, magnesium. I also try to get at least 2 tablespoons of olive oil each day as well as 1 tablespoon of psyllium husk and 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of ground flax meal. I've also been taking omega-3's but have put that on pause for a little bit because I'm getting ready to start an experiment to see how much I can raise my omega-3 index. But normally I try to take omega-3's every day as well. Sometimes I take Melatonin but really haven't been doing that regularly. I also need to mention that I believe strongly that taking a bunch of supplements without following a healthy diet isn't going to help much. Regular exercise is also hugely important as well as good sleep. Hope that helps.
You look great, but there is definitely a difference in the 2 videos. The newer video almost seems like a soft filter is applied, so hard to really gauge the Change.
Thanks! Yes there was also some harsh lighting in the first one. I didn't apply a filter at all but I wonder if the camera was slightly out of focus. I don't think it was but it's hard for me to tell. Thanks again.
I started taking vital proteins over 3 years ago along with hyaluronic acid and my joint pain is completely gone, my hair is as thick as when I was a teen, my finger nails and skin are looking so much better. Plus by adding it to my protein shake in the morning I can go all day without feeling hungry. I sip on my shake for 4 hours hours. I am 55 and in the best shape of my life.
My sport doctor recommended collagen peptide with prolotherapy and PRP, I took it for about 2 years and then stop, I am 51 notice that my joint pain was worse after training, my recuperation and my hair thinned a bit more. I started taking 10g collagen per day and now i see the difference.
I simply used unrefined organic coconut oil mixed 100% caocao butter mix coconut cream paste mix with extra virgin oilve oil, they are all safe to eat. I used a paper towel sucked up the oil mixed evenly apply on the face and the hair, make sure message the oil well into the skin, put a show cap on the head help sleeping, within 5 day, looked years younger.
Anxiety shouldn't be affected by collagen... If you are having anxiety that does not respond to meditation, therapy or medication then I would highly recommend getting tested for ADHD. One of the top three symptoms of ADHD is high anxiety due to racing or uncontrollable thoughts. This is especially under diagnosed in girls/women since most do not present with hyperactive types of outward behavior (it's mostly internal due to social norms/pressures). Anywho... That's just my little perspective & two cents. Wishing you well and sending all the feels ❤😊
Just as many studies say the exact opposite. The truth is collagen has not had enough impartial large blind studies to base any credibility or conclusion when it comes to physical or mental health, good bad or other. Collagen is the main structural protein found in our body's connective tissues, it's an essential part of all mammals makeup. Unless you have some kind of rare protein/food derived sensitivity or allergy (depending on the source of the collagen supplement, bovine/marine...) then it should not have any significant impact on your mental health. That being said there is always an exception to everything and also psychosomatic reactions do occur. Be well, feel good & do what makes you comfortable 😊
@@JTJaredTaylor it looks thicker in the front for sure. I just started taking collagen and am looking forward to the benefits. Thank you for your informative video.
I am not taking vital protein as I don't get it easily in my country. So, I'm taking another brand of collagen peptide. Within one week of taking it, my nails grew faster, stronger, and didn't break off like they used to.
It shouldn't. There are studies that indicate that it may even help. Here's an example of one that showed that Collagen Peptide Supplementation lowered LDL pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35658958/ This comes from a review of multiple studies. Hope that helps.
I don't know your age but I CAN SEE! 👁🗨! The difference between the 2 videos is undisputable!!! 🎉 As you may have said back in the day,.. DUDE, YOU LOOK GREAT! DEFINITELY going to check out the hyaluronic acid! 👍
Thank you JT for this comprehensive review. I started Wholesome Wellness peptides about 3 months ago but not consistently. You have motivated me to make this part of my daily regimen, esp as a senior! I know you mentioned convenience as the reason to go with VP, but was wondering why the collagen products with 5 types of collagen isn't your 1st choice? Seems like a full spectrum product addresses more issues.
Hey GeoTex1111, I'm glad you found the video helpful. I feel like I also get collagen in my diet so I don't worry too much about getting all 5 types in supplement form. That said, Type 1 is the most abundant in your body which most all supplements have. Thanks for watching! I hope you are able to see the positive benefits you're looking for.
Try two scoops in cold water. Give it time. You will heal better from cuts, rarely get colds. I needed two knee ops. Started collagen peptides, and now don't need ops. Can stand forever on one leg, run, dance, hold planks and squats. Don't give up. 😊
@@sandrastones494 Is that really true? You give me much hope if so! I have OA in both knees, feels like i'm walking on metal and wire most of the time! I've been taking gelatin (1 tbsp morning and night) for the last 3 months or so, and while pain has reduced a bit, i dont see drastic results :( How long till you saw first results on your knees?
I did the same, bought it 2 times and then got lazy. Took me a while to understand why my joints start aching. I bought it and the pain stopped. I also realized an improvement in the driest areas on my body like legs, elbows. My Keratosis pilaris that was never terrible also improved.
All I know is that when I bump into something, I experience longer lasting pain. Also when gripping something and nail being pulled, it is very painful compared to my younger days, etc….so not sure if I need to take collagen
Hello, would you please explain why the video on the left seems to have a higher resolution? Also, in my opinion, the settings for shooting videos to compare before and afters should be exactly the same. I’m not implying that you’re trying to manipulate anything, but if possible, could you explain why the background in the lower-definition video on the right is pure gray, while the other is beige? Beige would make sun damage more noticeable, while gray could camouflage it. Again, this particular review might just be an ‘unintended perfect storm,’ but I’d really like to hear what happened. I think many of your viewers would appreciate understanding this as well.
Hi, yes unintended. When I first started taking collagen I never took "before" pictures. Didn't even think about it. Later on when I made a update / results video I got several comments from people asking for before and after images which I didn't have. So in this video I just tried to do the best I could. Both videos are the same resolution 1920x1080 but the first video was shot in 60fps and the 2nd is 24fps (pretty sure because at one point I switched to 24fps for all my videos) which will contribute to a softer look. The other thing was that I used to open the blinds to the window just to the left of the screen to allow in some natural light but I found that the light changed with clouds moving etc. So, in order to control that I started keeping the blinds closed. So in the earlier video the light is harsher. The other thing, and one that has been very frustrating for me, is that it seems the autofocus on my camera is not functioning as well as it did when I first started using it. I'm planning to upgrade. Just waiting until my budget will allow for it. Now I have several videos on my channel. If people want to they could jump around, look at the dates posted, and compare. Hope that answers your question.
