The best version is the 5 dollars a month and I feel the best having that. Support the guy. This thing is better than Serum, and a good companion for Phaseplant.
free plugins are great! I love Serum though. I couldnt afford it all at once, but it was very manageable to pay $10/month on splice rent-to-own :) Vital is awesome too!!!
@@illford he literally said he couldn’t afford it all at once so it doesnt matter what you would do. The guy got it how he could at least he didnt crack it like most people
Vital is legendary! It's arguably better than serum and its free! The interface feels great and the sound.... man the sound! We've created so many epic Neuro Bass / Deep Bass type sounds on this synth, it's madness! Great to see that more people are getting onto this
I would love to see some more videos using vital! Also I think it would be cool if you made some Vital preset packs. I would assume that most people who are using a free synth like Vital are beginners, and most beginners may not be super skilled at making their own synth presets.
10:57 Lmao when the other dude start making noise 😂😂. I suffer of the same problem in here and i alwaye have the same reaction as you mate. Hahaha I just simply hate when it happens and it happens almost every fuckin single day, like Monday to Monday. It's so disturbing haha.
01:47 There's an In The Mix Vital tutorial? See ya! jk. I've been watching shedloads of Vital tutorial vids and - after I'll have finished watching this - I'll be heading straight over to Sam's channel. Vital's abilities are blowing my mind more and more as I learn more.
06:47 to 07:00 This is the beginning of a tune that I want to hear. Seriously. The beat kicks in at 06:58 BUT is immediately killed. This happens far too often in similar synth tutorial vids. 😄
Now. Is it dope? Yes. Am I realllly experienced with serum though? Yes. Do I use use vital as well? No. Why? Cpu…..so it’s scalable right? And I have a 4k screen. So, even having it open uses 20-60% of my cpu. I will mess with it in sound design seshes, cuz it is faster for certain sounds. But, honestly. My opinion on it is: it is as powerful as serum. It’s also a little bit different. It’s also way easier to learn. Buuut, if you have already learned what everything does in serum, very rarely will you reach for vital. And the same probably goes both ways. And if you are an fl user with an understanding of patcher, you probably don’t need phase-plant. Cuz, phaseplant is pretty much like serum+ serum fx+ sampler+ some granular stuff, in patcher. But, you can play space invaders on phaseplant. So, do with that information what you will.
I have seen a few of your videos and then totally independently bought your Cyberpack samples yesterday through googling and with this video only realized you’re the same person
You failed to demonstrate the built in shepard tone working as a real shepard tone. I can't get it to work either. You can program it from scratch though without any problems.
Serum's sound engine sounds subjectively tighter and/or better? Maybe not 189 dollars better. Idk...but there's a reason why Serum is one of the most respected vstis of all time.
