He's just simply lost the ability. It's no surprise though. Singing this insanely high notes for years can really murder your vocals. He can still get some range though.
@@japanesefacist2460 Incorrect. He started using playback extensively since his commercial debut, the voice-activation trick was devised around 2001-2002. He did more live performances when he was an indie artist but very little footage has surfaced.
Seems like he didn't mind. Looks like it was done on purpose. There is no different facial expression. He is walking calmly still, no flinching, no surprise. No quickly putting the mic to his mouth to hide, no shock, nothing. Just calm. Maybe he is mocking/poking fun.
I have a theory. I read somewhere that singers don't hear the same audio that the audience hears at concerts, because the speakers are pointing to the audience and positioned beneath the stage. What Vitas hears is strictly the audio coming from his monitor, which is likely that he didn't hear at all because this song was performed 100% lip synced, not even VAP, being the vocal part of the backing track, not separated track.
His usually smile with confidence expression contort to furious and almost cry out of it, i cant imagine how devastated he is, but he regain his composure right away means he is great performer 🫡
@@winniepeg2020What? Dude, yes he can. And for crying out loud, he doesn't even sing high in this song (which is called "Blessed Guru"), only ONE tiny part of one word in the song is sung in falsetto, and thats not even "high" in vitas standards, or anyones standards. In fact, this song of his is known for Vitas showcasing how LOW he can sing (listen to the song, just before the choruses he speaks in an incredibly low voice)
It does matter. It’s kind of lying to the public when people are thinking they are going to see a live concert and it’s lip synced. No hate towards him, but it’s a little dishonest.
@@yuvraajkumar2036 the question is whether he can actually hit these notes or if his voice is digitally altered into something he's incapable of. Some songs clearly have digital alterations of the pitch and looping notes - acapellas of Nightingale, Infinity, Dreams and 7th Element for example. Sure, he may do this for studio "effect", but it is questionable when he performs these songs "live" and implies he can actually sing exactly the same way each time. I will give him the benefit of doubt whether he can hit the high notes, since he has demonstrated in his early years he was capable of hitting a D6, but the only way he can prove it is if he sings those high notes without the microphone.
@@anunheardtruth3071 Hey, The 7th Element actually has 0 autotune/tuning, at least not in the 2001 version (the original). In the available acapella and the 2018 remix, it's indeed heavily autotuned. Dreams was tuned for.. well, it sounding nice(r)? Sometimes tuning is necessary, and sometimes it isn't. Vitas has proven multiple times he can actually sing incredibly high. It's indeed questionable "live" as he's been forced to playback and use tricks alot since 2002! It's kind of a standard over there, and he didnt have as much impact on whether he wanted to use such tricks or not. He did, tho, sing live as much as he could/was allowed to (see Vitebsk, Kremlin 2002, and actually many other Vitas concerts! I recommend you binge watch every single one and then come back here. Let me know! :)
I mean for him to be so calm about it tells you he must KNOW that that is going on and maybe playing around with that being done. Reminds me of what folks said about Freddie Mercury and how he purposely too kept the microphone away from his mouth while the playback went on because he was mad he was made to lip-sync. So with Vitas it could be similar thing. Its just TOO obvious(unless this video has been fiddled with too)
You was at one of his specific obscure shows in 1996 where he sung Opera N°2? Or are you referring to his 1999 performance of that song in a night club? I almost had a stroke reading your comment btw, no hate haha

Это видео того времени, где он выступал почти каждый день, он просто за@бывался. Он был вынужден иногда использовать фонограмму, иначе сорвал бы голос. В его вокальных данных никто не должен сомневаться.
