You mentioned that because these are micro oled displays you get a very contrasty image. Is this relevant in birdbath displays as a true black is only possible in a completely dark room or with the light blocker attached?

The glasses look nice. I personally wouldn’t get much use for them but if I were to get a pair I’d wait a bit longer to see what the future brings with better models and upgrades

I think the next natural step will be brighter/bigger perceived screens (hopefully with proper HDR support) and higher refresh rates. To my very loose knowledge on the matter, I believe all of these glasses use the same displays, more or less. The only difference is some will clock them to run at a higher refresh, which brings extra heat.

Have been looking into these devices lately, but still hesitant to pull the trigger because it seems every company's product each have their own flaws. And I wholeheartedly agree with the 120 hertz comment. Even VR headsets recommend a 90 hertz+ refresh. So to use 60 feels so backwards...

Psst! Don't forget glasses users that the diopters adjust the DISPLAYED image and not the entire lens, so if you've got pretty impaired eyesight, you'll likely still need the inserts, which VITURE does have a link to directly on their site. Also! The glasses' SBS (or side-by-side 3D) will allow you to watch "spatial video' that is the "3d video" captured by the new fancy iPhones, no $3500 Vision Pro needed!

Thank you! Thought I had mentioned it only goes to -5.00. good to know about the vision pro 3d video, I only just learned of those style of videos the other day haha

Oh you did! @@WinDeckTech what I meant was it'll only bring the projected image into focus, meaning just because something is "inside the frame" doesn't mean it'll be focused with the diopter, hence why you might still need prescription inserts. It's still a very useful feature IMO though for glasses wearers though.

Good review though I was dissatisfied that you didn’t mention which ugreen dock you were able to run DisplayPort out with.

I don't usually criticize, and I appreciate the review, however your tone of voice and cadence make you sound like you really did not want to do this video.

Can you point us to these issues with the Rokid Max that you allude to a few times in this video? Because those AR glasses seem to tick all or most of the features you seem to prefer here. Adjustment for nearsightedness? Check. Ability to do 120 Hz? Check. Uses USB C cable to avoid proprietary cables, to give ability to adjust cord length to fit your use case, to avoid captive cables that brick a device if the just cable part stops working? Check. And then there is the Rokid Max price on sites like eBay. Can be found new between $250-300 USD. Not as full featured, but considering the price difference in street price how important are those other features really? Seems like the real sweet spot for me personally. But hey, maybe you know something about these that I don't...

Privileged much? Horrible comment.

@@koryoninja Providing constructive criticism is "privileged"? Please enlighten me because I honestly am having a hard time understanding the logic.
