Les œuvres de Vivaldi en gamme de sol mineur sont parmis ses plus poignantes, elles ont une ambiance absolument formidable et indescriptiblement touchante... Que cet homme plane dans les cieux à jamais, inondant l'univers de sa musique ❤
+Giovanni Battista Vivaldi Dear Giovanni, I agree with you completely on the many devices Vivaldi uses on this work, which is filled with refinement and elegance, chiaroscuro, and an enormous sense of Italian grandeur (molto Latino!) from the beginning to the end. "Vibrato and legato in Vivaldi" is something that does not bother me at all (for instance, the best Vivaldi performances, in my opinion and for my taste, are by I Musici di Roma, esp. during the leadership of Pina Carmirelli. And this one comes across as truly sensitive, aristocratic, and just magnificent to me!). I just adjust automatically my ears, my feelings, my sense of historical performance praxis, and my sense of aesthetics, and VOILA: sheer pleasure!!!!! ;) Cheers!!!!
There is something absolutely miraculous, celestial in this piece, as, in my opinion, in no other work by Vivaldi. Personally I think the initial Allegro is one of the peaks of all Baroque music, even Bach and Handel have to step back from that. A moving piece of almost indecipherable modernity, an absolute transcendence of the Baroque form and not only that, but of the idea of music itself. I keep hearing it and every time I am surprised. It's a miracle
even Bach and Handel have to step back from that ...haha Hello ...Vivaldi is a genius, but Bach and Haendel don't have to step back from that ...For instance, listen to "Georg Friedrich Händel, Water Music, Chamber Soloists Of Washington, Edward Carroll, "02 Adagio E Staccato" ...you will see that all three of these composers are peaks that should not be compared, that all three are incredibly modern
VIVALDI SE LLEVA POR LEJOS A LOS DOS ALEMANES ( PORQUE HENDEL ERA ALEMAN) Tiene mas sentido melodico y melodico de alta calidad. Dueño de una creatividad absoluta, Vivaldi nunca termina de sorprender !
This is one of the rarest of those beauties that you suddenly discover when you have almost given up after a long and yearning search, leaving you pleasantly stunned and mesmerized by the beauty of art!
Listening to this music makes me happy, and brings joy to my life in a way that I cannot describe. This music is so beautiful that is different than visual art. Thank you very very much !
@@kihuu4055 I think it's the syncopated motives that give this feeling of modernity. Also some interesting chord progression for this period. (around 1:30 f.e.)
Vivaldi took baroque to its limits .and though bachs music can be so complex and profound ,along with handel and a couple others, vivaldis music gives me joy at another level.and i would say although i love other baroque composers like bach, handel, purcel, albinoni, teleman, campra, lotti, torelli and ,beneditto alesandro marcello ,giles, buxtehude ,vivaldis music is litle above them atleast for me
Harmonious blending of art and music to create a video that pleasures the eyes, ears and mind! Thank you for posting this great treat for lovers of the Red Haired Priest!
@@giovanni3870 capisco la bandiera, Antonio ti fa sentire sempre più fiero di essere Italiano, ogni volta che ascolti un suo pezzo. Almeno a me, lui fa questo effetto..
I'm on deadline (tomorrow by 5pm) for a proposal submission to a major govt agency that includes energy analyses (show your work equations etc) Listening to this is the only way I can think without going into panic mode. :)
GUAAAOO!!! ES INCREÍBLE PENSAR Q ESA MUSICA TIENE 300AÑOS DIGO YO!! Y NO SE PARA MI ES COMO VIAJAR A ESA EPOCA! UN GENIO NO TIENE OTRA MANERA DE DESCRIBIR A VIVALDI!!
I've got 12 versions and this is by far the best. Another i recommend is by Florian Deuter "concerti per violino" Harmonia Universelle. All of the versions tend to be too fast in the last movement.
If I can intrude into the argument between Zordan60 and Lucas, whilst I can appreciate "authentic" performances too, I am willing to bet that if Vivaldi, Bach and Handel had heard modern strings with vibrato they would have thought "wow, this sounds better!"
