Utterly delightful, to celebrate Vivaldi's genius, in this whirlwind of notes, just bursting with energy, and compelling motivic drive. I have always loved playing this piece, but seeing the actual autograph makes me feel a little closer to the composer, across the divide of hundreds of years. Thank you, Del Vivaldi!

This recording is ON FIRE!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Of course, the 4 soloists bring it on with their energetic playing and tasteful ornamentation, but I’m also hearing a lot of drive and improv in the basso continuo, and I feel that that drives this recording forward in a way that other recordings don’t. The art of improvisation has mostly been lost in the Classical music world, but fortunately (especially in the Early Music movement), there are still awesome performers who know how to OWN the piece and make it POP! Bravissimo!

If I could have chosen the era I was born in, it would have been during Vivaldi’s and Bach’s lifetime I just love everything about the 18th century, especially the music.

Bravi! I admit I was not too impressed when I saw this offering, now one of Vivaldi’s most often performed pieces, but this recording is almost revelatory in its energy, liveliness and expression. I’ve known this work since I was in high school (almost 4 decades) and I heard this with “new ears” today. Grazie, Signore!

Come invidio, voi che sapete leggere le note! Io so leggere do-re-mi sulle righe e sugli spazi, imparato a scuola, anche il solfeggio, basta! Tutto lì! Il pentagramma resta per me un mistero. Per questo motivo invidio coloro che sono Profi! Leggere le note di Vivaldi, resta un sogno irrealizzabile.

¡Excelente grabación! Con respecto al cambio de modalidad de presentación de la partitura dividida en 4 pantallas, no las puedo leer por quedar de tamaño diminuto. Una de las brillantes características de su canal, era que se podía leer la partitura simultáneamente mientras se escuchaba la música, lo cual permitía notar como Vivaldi componía al tiempo que escribía y cuando se equivocaba, tachaba, mostrando su genialidad y creatividad.

Me encanto escuchar nuevamente este concierto tan lleno de vida pero en algunos movimientos también nostálgico me encanta. Deberían escuchar la transcripción que realizó Bach para clavincembalo es genial la Netherlands society Bach tiene una grabación estupenda para 4 claves.
