People are talking about how HTC blurred the shoes....but nobody is mentioning how this guy broke into the home of the couple in the picture behind him, to record this tutorial.
How I imagine ever company thinks about that stuff: "BOB! they are using our shoes in their company video". - Steve. "Wait isn't that free advertising for us?" - Bob. "NO, It's an infringement of our copyright! SUE THEM! " - Steve.
@@borgri5871 Basically, Stupid companies looking for money can sue people who use their logo in anything that makes money, cuz it somehow violates trademark and copyright laws or something like that.
Man it's so cool but I can't buy one because we don't have enough money to buy the vive vr and when I see a vive vr in the mall my eyes is popping out and my dream is to have vive vr headset and I'm poor so bye.
So i don’t have the actual headset, i use a rift s with the vive trackers and 2 base stations 2.0... do i have to put the base stations 2 meters high or there is another recommended height for it?
Lol for me it’s more like. Step 1: • Make sure you have a powerful computer and if you don’t acquire one. Step 2: •Save up for the VR Headset and base stations. Once you try VR you have to have one of your own 😂
I've got a question: When you set up your play area you usually exclude the Desk. Wouldn't playing seated games at your desk interfere with your play area and constantly set of a warning?
A couple of things that might help some peeps out there; 1) YOU WILL NEED A MONITOR to first install and set up the vive. My vid card was a dvid only not a dv and my old school monitor was neither.Had to buy a $40 cable to install but i returned it and got my refund at Staples. You cannot use the vive if you do not set it up first. 2)you MUST pair the dongles and set them up high and across each other.I used some lamp stands, took off the bulb and placed the dongles where the bulbs use to go. it works well. C) my linkbox didn't work so i plugged it directly into my comp without needing to use the linkbox fully. Such a pain Ω)you will need a power outlet forveach controller one for the headset, and ...yeah. Prolly will need some power cords /strips . Z) the pron is amazing.I would love it if I could watch live sports with it though. As if I were in the stadium itself.
Everyone disses HTC, but the vive pro 2 is the industry leader rn. Better fidelity and refresh rate than psvr2, better tracking and noticeably less screen door than an index, more compatibility than a pimax. Sure the pimax 5k is $50 cheaper, but a pimax requires a 4090, but a vive will run quite happily on a 3070. It is finally possible to have roomscale 4K VR for less than $5000. Idk why people hate on HTC. I’ve been waiting a decade for a headset as good as the vive pro 2.
I almost have enough saved up so that it isn't an irresponsible purchase lol. I COULD technically buy one, but then i'd be stretching till the next paycheck or 2 lol.
Valentin damn so excited, mine is coming in 2 days, the problem is is that vive doesn't ship the vr to my country and had to buy it from a 3rd party website, I'm hoping it doesn't mess up my shipping.
How can i plug the HDMI cable into my computers graphics card if their is already a HDMI cable already their supporting my monitor? the back of my tower only has 1 HDMI port same goes for my Monitor soo does that mean i'm going to need to buy a new monitor with more HDMI ports???
Could someone help me with an issue I'm having? My PC only has one HDMI port, and my screen is using it. Is there any way around this? I've been looking for solutions for about 45 min now.
I want to point out that you do NOT need the Vive software to use the Vive. Unless you want to use Viveport, all you need is SteamVR. The Vive software auto-runs when you start your computer and is a resource hog.
Bad. Came in as a Christmas gift and when I connected it, it couldn’t track my headset and just kept saying headset disconnected. Everything works out, except the headset. Also the controllers didn’t come in charged but I can’t blame them.
I am still triggered as I have a collected 3 hours of trying to set up the base station and it still does not work -.- On the other hand my space sucks as considering I have a very limited space to play in.
what happens if one of the base stations is blue? One of them is green but the other is blue, it's on a stable tripod and isn't being obstructed, they have a clear view of each other but the blue one refuses to turn green. The green one is set to b & the other is set to c, I tried the other way by setting the left one to c and right one to b but nothing changed. I'm at a loss and it's been frustrating.
i have a problem with the wire that connects the headset to the link box. if i leave the cable on the gorpund i will trip over it if i try to put it on the celing then theres not enouch wire to make me crouch so i cantcrouch in the games my question: is there a way to extend the headset wire that connects to the link box i really need helt with it
We set up the room and doesnt detect the headset or controllers and the base stations continue to not want to sync up even though we connected them and did the channels, I'm so frustrated with the set up
hey i need help. I'm not able to connect my oculos, in that general socket, where the wires of the oculos are, in the part that is not orange, there's only one wire, which is the USB (I saw several videos but I still don't understand what to put on the others (I speak portugues)) and the oculos do not want to turn on... so that business of downloading the lives does not come. And about the setup, well, I was only able to download the setup, but not the software :( some help me please (and sorry for the english, im using google translator)
I REALLY WANT THIS BUT I CAN HAVE IT BECAUSE MY SPECS ARENT GOOD ENOUGH IF YOU HAVE A INTEL CORE I3 AND AN INTEL HD GRAPHICS 620 THEN YOU won't BE HAVING A HTC VIVE UNLESS YOU GET A BETTER PC
my dad bought me a BENFEI displayport to HDMI adapter and it worked, you plug it into the one that looks like a hdmi cable but only has one diagonal line
