Vivek was referring to term limits. We need them on every political seat that can be elected! No for life career politicians who mooch off the taxpayers.
It's the Permanent Senior Executive Services that are the deep state. Politicians come and go. But those who are in DC permanently are the ones running the show.
The reason for longer term limits is that it's thought to reduce the threat of populism. If Supreme Court only had its seat for 2 years, those individuals might succumb to the ideology of the day rather than to uphold the constitution. Term limits are a thing, but the bigger issue in my opinion is citizens united. Which basically makes it legal for special interests to bribe politicians.
He was also referring to term limits for the upper directors of all these government agencies. That is what makes up most of the "swamp". They are not elected, they are basically in there jobs for decades if not life. All these people leading the government behind the scenes are mostly from the same area, they grew up together, went to school and university together, went to church with each other, attend gathers together, families know families for a long time. If you aren't part of that group, then you don't matter. This other noise we constantly hear about is smoke and mirrors tactic to divert your attention from them. Politicians are puppets. The reason being that once on SCOTUS, you have no one to answer to because you have a lifetime appointment, so you are only beholden to the Constitution and not outside influences.

Trump’s gotta finish his story arc, but I’d 110% vote for Vivek as he stands on his positions and knowledge of not only the political front, but the cultural aspects Far more on an informed front than any other candidate by miles. Real talk, he would mop the floor with Donald Trump in a debate and do it with grace and respect and Trump wouldn’t know what to do and resort to low-ball insults at his character and in THAT scenario, he wouldn’t hold as much power on that front because objectively Vivek is an all around good guy with a great track record, highly educated with high intelligence debate skills m, the first millennial presidential candidate who understands the cultural elements of the fight going forward. Chuck Todd is such a horrible host. I watched Meet the press when it was actually a News show of reporters and not talking heads run by legacy media. This show was amazing when Tim Russert hosted it.
The problem is that when parents take their kids to therapy, the therapists push the hormones, surgeries, etc. So the parents are doing what the "doctor" is telling them to do. This is why there has to be a law to prevent it. This is also why you don't do everything your doctor tells you to do, just cause they say so. You research things for yourself, then do what you feel is best for you.

The GOP is going to listen to that. DeSantis is only at around 25%. Vivek is all the way down at 5%. If Trump is the clear front runner still when it gets time to hold debates and he says no then there is no way that the GOP is going to allow any official debates to occur without Trump. Period. End of story. The other candidates might want to hold unofficial debates but I guarantee you the GOP would do everything in their power to prevent it. They are not going to chance angering Trump or his base by allowing it. But that's if Trump is still the front runner when it comes time to hold debates. He very well may not be especially with Georgia on the horizon. The GOP has to play this very carefully because if they anger Trump and make him feel like he's been thrown under the bus then he will run as a 3rd party candidate. I know a grown adult, someone in their 50's, who suffered with gender dysphoria.. He was born a male and transitioned to female (never had bottom surgery). After years of living as a "female", he detransitioned. This was an adult. He had breast augmentation, took hormones, forced his way into the women's locker room and bathroom. Then one day, he came into work and was back to being a dude again, went back to using his birth name. Weirdest shit ever.

Another note on that suicide comment, i've been hearing that people have been coming to parents and telling them that if they don't allow their child to transition that they would kill themselves. In most cases the child never said that, in my view it's a scare tactic to force parents to transition their child.
You guys should watch Chloe Cole. She started transitioning before 18. She said her parents were told that if you do not transition your daughter, you might have a dead daughter. Treatment can be a two edge sword depending on the physiologist or psychiatrist treating the problem. What determines the treatment ? Drugs, sex changing or just mental health treatment. Climate religion, in this context, means people who are so vehemently clamoring for green energy, end to fossil fuels, banning fracking, and halting the construction of pipelines all for the sake of global warming are too short sighted to see that enforcing policies that do all that would greatly hurt several aspects of our economy and the long term ostensible benefits for the environment aren’t worth the damage it would cause to our infrastructure and economy. We need to seek other solutions; like potentially nuclear power. But the people who are devout towards “climate religion” don’t care about any of the negative impact banning those things would have and have zero desire to compromise. That’s what he means.
