I also served in the Air Force and deployed. I now serve as a pediatric nurse in a busy hospital. Service does not necessarily look one particular way. If you work for the betterment of others, you are serving. This woman is so hateful she can’t open her mind to see that. Painful to hear her speak.
As Indian we don't necessarily put kids in the military for service contribution but teach them to be what they want to be in life successfully which in return will be uplifting the economy of the nation. Also the contribution of the military is essential for the country too.

There is a crisis in the usa that has been flying under the radar for near 30 years. Ppl are aware yet goes untalked about. Drug babies. Born without certain filters. This doesn't just apply to street drugs but pharma as well. In many cases its lack of empathy, lack of affection, blocked neuropathways, extreme imbalance in serotonin and dopamine. It doesn't matter there age, they are biologically not capable of maturity. They all need a babysitter to tell them right from wrong. The system took advantage of a crisis and programmed them to be revolutionaries.this is not something that can be solved by a change of president. These are people who are a legit burden on society and the reason mental hospitals need to become a thing again. They are more dangerous to themselves than others and 180x more likely to violently lash out than your average person over the age of 35. It does matter if they are part of pride as those people are around 250x more likely to violently lash out.

As someone who spent a good bit of time in the military, this is a picturesque view of someone who, if they were a leader at all, had let what little power they had go to their head. I can't tell you how many adult children are in leadership positions in the military. While there are MANY good leaders. There are these types as well and they are more noticeable because as we say the squeaky wheel gets the greese.

As a veteran myself, I hate when people push the "I served" what did you do, that she pushed. The people that boast about serving, from what Ive seen, tended to be the people that whined the most and bashed the military while they were in. Its so weird. As a black woman who has served in the military, I personally know people who have SANDBAGGED (did NOTHING) in the military! So just "serving" on your resume doesnt quality you to be racist, and denounce what someone else has done to contribute to our country!!!

His parents were an engineer and a Psychologist, and he grew up with his grandparents living with them. He got into Harvard and graduated Suma Cum Lade with a degree in biology. He then worked for an investment firm during the 2008 Great Financial Crisis. He worked full time and got a law degree in Constitutional law from Yale and met his wife who is a doctor. He then went on to start a biotech company that created 4 drugs that no other company would make because they werent considered profitable. The biotech company is a multi billion dollar business. He left his position as CEO during the BLM riots because he refused to support any organization that wanted to break apart the nuclear family. And he wanted to be able to voice his opinion without it hurting his company. He then wrote 2 books "Nation of Victimhood" and "Woke Inc." . He then started another company that is an investment firm that is a direct competitor with Blackrock. Vivek is worth $600 million and is only 37 years old. Ive watched/listened to about 10 interviews now, and he 100% has my vote
I’m leaning towards DeSantis, but wouldn’t be mad at all if Vivek gets the nomination. I think he needs a little more time in public view, but he’s going to be a political superstar in time. Still very young and has plenty of time. He’s got a bright future in politics if he decides to go that route

I think she confuses leadership with just being bossy. You can't play with Vivek. I'm convinced the man is actually a genius. She tried to play with him, and had it out for him from the get go. If he doesn't make Pres on his first campaign, he needs to at least land powerful spots in the government that let him fulfill his expertise and visionary qualifications ASAP. We all know the amount of racism and disdain the black community has for Asian Americans. Because the success of the Asian community disproves their logic that the US is a racist place and minorities can't manage to get ahead. African Americans have had a 100-year or more head start on most Asian and even African immigrants, and yet these immigrants have managed to become more successful and acquire more education and larger networths than even white Americans per capita.

I've know 3 people in the Airforce, one was a working in the mail room on base, one was a dental assistant on base, and one a Airforce cop. None saw combat they just work normal job and went through boot camp. A lot of these people just do it for work.

So should I demand I be called “Irish-English American?” Because those are actual cultures despite what a small (but ridiculously loud) percentage of people would have you believe. I have met them, can name them personally, and am taught deep appreciation for where they came from when the majority of “African Americans” can’t even do that. I think her problem is that while she's trying to discredit him to right-wing voters (comparing him to Chris Christie) she is speaking in a way that only resonates with the left. When leftists think about leadership they think about activism. Her recalling complaining about a teacher collecting homework in an undesirable way was showing that she had an activist mindset from a young age. When right-wingers think about leadership they think about Entrepreneurship. Producing goods that others want badly enough to pay for them and creating jobs. This is perfectly reflected in who stood out as the populous candidates for each party 11 years ago. For the Democrats it was Bernie Sanders, a life long political activist. For the Republicans it was Donal Trump, the man who was on a TV show about judging young talent seeking to lead business like him.

shes foolish. apparently public servants require student council time in school! youre only civic minded after 4 yrs in military where you receive benefits like college tuition, ha. im sure that woman joined the military solely to serve her country and fellow citizens - she didnt once consider any benefits to herself. strictly a selfless, service minded individual. while some have done good work, career politicians and career civil service employees are a terrible idea. it shouldnt be some badge of honor to work a lifetime in community organizing, elected govt, etc with limited to no experience out in public sector. pelosi, mcconnell, biden, etc should not collecting govt checks for 40-50 yrs - thats insane. our political system was initially designed for small business owners and farmers to serve their communities in local/state/fed govt for 4 or 8 years or whatever, then go back to work. regular citizens representing their neighbors, then moving on. limited experience in govt work by its very nature. vivek has talked of a system where high school grads must serve 2 years in some capacity - join the military, peace corps, habitat for humanity, local church service orgs, etc before moving forward in their lives, with full citizenship benefits. countries like israel do the same. they didnt get to discuss philosophy or policy or anything of substance though bc interviewer went in with mindset that hes a dirtbag who shes going to dunk on, at every turn. i cant imagine listening to that show every day...or at all. sadly, millions apparently do and im guessing many thought she killed it

Navy/Air Force vet here. Sure, I volunteered, but I was paid, trained, housed, and fed. It wasn’t service that I provided out of the goodness of my heart.

Oh she was a reservist?? I seriously doubt she signed up to “die for ‘her’ country”. As a USAF retiree, I’m fairly certain she only joined as a part-time member for the benefits. She talks about “service” like she’s lived her life selflessly with the welfare of the country and her community as her top priority.

Chris Sabo from the 1990 world series championship heard about him. He came and watched a college game. He ask me what his plans were after this year. I said we have several offers and are going to let him decide where he wants to play. Chris Sabo said if he played with his team in the Frontier League, that if he pitches like he did tonight I can almost guarantee he will be a Cincinnati Red. Ask if I minded if he talked to him after game. So after they were eliminated from tournament. Dennis Jr. Went and threw a batting practice against his team. They hit one fly ball out of infield. Faced some guys twice. He just turned 23. Was 6ft. 5 inches weighed 171lbs. All muscle. Worked at this dream starting at 4 in T Ball. So 2nd season comes around and Chris gets offer from AAA REDS to work with Barry and Eric Davis. So Tom Browning takes over team. Oh I failed to mention he was a lefty. He lead al DIVISIONs of college two of his four years of college.So then he spends next season learning from leftyTom ( MR.PERFECT) Browning. At end of season Hewas dating this model in St.Louis and living with her. So on in September Tom tells him he is going to Sarasota to start working over winter with Reds minor league pitching coach Ted Powers. Then on October 8th 2004 he was in a rollover car accident as a passenger that his girlfriend was driving. He died on scene as car rolled and landed on him partially ejected. Broke his neck and he died . She claimed she was speeding. Lawyers bought each other out and Cincinnati radio 700 WLW PIPED Tom voice over the airways into the funeral home that had 700 + people there. It blocked major roadway.
