Just add a little plumbers thread tape, that white roll of stretchy stuff you can use on your garden hose faucet if it’s leaking at the connection, and that windshield wiper will be good as gold.

Yeah not so much with my kitchen but other areas like bathrooms and offices. It's so handy. I used to clean houses and I would throw some extras in the bottom so next time it was ready.

If you have a problem with leaks 1 get the Costco brand flex bags, they are great and 2 just leave 4/5 bags in the bottom. If you do have a leak you only lose a few bags and still get the benefit 😊

I have the old version of the windshield cleaner and it doesn’t have the sprayer function but I love it. I guess it’s good for cleaning the windshield, BUT…… I use it to wipe the windshield when it’s foggy and I don’t have time to wait for the defrost to unfog it. Game changer for those of us that are always running late lol!!!
I bought a cheap DG brand retractable swiffer, microfiber cloths and a bottle of windex. I keep them in my truck and do the windshield with that. I am short and can barely reach the dash so the inside if my windshield used to be a mess. No more.
We don’t have Walmart or Dollar Tree where I live - so those videos are not particularly interesting to me - but these vintage Vivian tries videos make me smile ❤

I have the Windshield Cleaner (without the sprayer)! It's the BEST!! I think mine is called "WONDERSHIELD" & it doesn't fold. I use only water in a spray bottle as per the instructions. Been using it for a decade on my car but ordered new 6 pk of "bonnets" on Amazon after the elastic broke on originals. Still great!
@@marciwhitman3513 You're wrong, Marci. You don't OWN one so you're not in the best position to argue the point. (Maybe you don't own a car?) The slant on some windshields are nearly impossible to access. Also, consider there are arthritic people, elderly people, people with short arms and little people who drive cars with dirty windshields that need cleaning! All would benefit from the extra reach of the simplest version of this helpful gadget. And then there are just people like me who appreciate a great gadget that really works and has made my life easier for over a decade.
Instead of utilizing the Trash Tidy product, I simply throw a few or several empty bags at the bottom of the trash can then apply the liner. Great video! AS SEEN ON V.T.!
I gave up on electric can openers a few years back. They always seem to get wonky after a while and I end up spending more time trying to get them to revolve all the way around the can than it would take to use a manual opener. The bonus was freed up counter space.
A few years ago my mom sliced her finger pretty badly on a sharp can requiring several stitches. Everyone got safety can openers for Christmas and I won’t go back to the other style. My only complaint has been that it’s hard to find an electric opener that cuts the side instead of the top. I’ll normally pinch my pennies pretty hard, but I’d pay $20 for that can opener!

For the windshield wizard you can also add 2 parts rubbing alcohol and one part water as a de-icer for places in the world where it's very cold in the morning.
Clean water and a microfiber cloth is enough to clean windows. Windex streaks like no other. It's the microfiber that cleans enough and it's delicate enough that you can't even wash it with fabric softener. Water is *all it needs* honestly! We clean windows with nothing else but water and microfiber. No streaks. E v e r!
We just throw new trash bags at the bottom, underneath the trash bag being used. Then when you go to take out the trash, you can just grab a new bag. Love your videos!

I've had the windshield cleaner, without the sprayer, for yrs. Who knows where the hell it went. So I bought 2 on TEMU for maybe $1.50 each. We all know what a pain it is to get the windshield all cleaned
I have that window cleaner BUT mine came with a bottle that u fill with water to mist your windshield, and the wand doesn't get filled. Mine works great! Instead of blue micro cloth, mine is 💚 green!
They sell these blue wiper thingys at Canadian Tire here in Canada. I think 10-15 $ which is about five USD lol. Perfect for fogging windows in fall or winter here or N/E States

I have on the side of my fridge a magnetic storage shelf. It includes 2 holders for paper towels. (As well ad storage for plenty of other things) I use one for paper towels, one for a roll of garbage bags. Right under neath the storage thingy? The garbage can.
Vivian. Looking at the instructions on the trash bag dispenser, you are supposed the leave the bags attached so when you put the trash out, you pull the new bag up with it and just tear and fold the new bag down.
it would be interesting if the lid from the can sat back neatly on the can, this would make an excellent hiding spot for money etc. Just hide among other cans in the pantry.
I think the gimmick of the trash bag dispenser is that it is held in place by the tape inside the garbage can. I used to keep my trash bags in the bottom of my trash can but stopped because the whole roll was thrown away with the trash when the can was emptied. I realize that most people lift the bag out of the can and put it in the outside dumpster but I am really short so I generally have to take the can with me tie the bag in the can and lift the entire can up over my head and dump the tied bag into the dumpster from the can... otherwise I have to lift the bag over my head and if it has a little hole in it or is leaking, it gets all over me. YUCK! With this device, I wouldn't have thrown away so many rolls of trash bags.
No you wouldn't. My hubby is a detailer, and NONE of them work. You're better off with vinegar and newspaper! Those other things leave major streaks and you won't notice till you're driving at night and the lights hit the windshield and you can't see!
@@galeem713 I'm 71 and I thought they would be the answer too. But they're awkward, don't reach into corners, and you can't get enough even pressure behind the stick to get the dirt off and leave your glass streak free. Cleaning windshields just suck no matter what you use. Oh, and forget about using them on the inside of the rear window if you have a car and not an SUV.
That is for the bags they supplied with it. Trash bags don't actually come that way anymore. At least not the ones I buy. But I agree about taking space in the trash can

Hi Vivian.. I think the reason why they said to put water in it instead of cleaner is because it is an atomizer sprayer. I bought a small sprayer like that figuring it would be great to put dawn dish soap in to spray on pots and pans when I wash them. What I noticed is when spraying something the spray is so fine it's easy to breathe it in. A regular sprayer won't do that. I would be put off using something like ammonia in it. Just my take on it.
For that trash can thing save your $$$ for years I have just left 4/5 extra bags in the bottom of the can! They are there when you need them, instead of getting 1 bag, just get 6 and take care of it for the week! If you have a leak, you only use a couple of bags ( that has not been a problem for me and I use the Costco bags 😂 A bonus is when the gigantic Costco roll gets smaller I just leave that in the bottom of the bathroom bin that is further away and I have like 30 bags there for like 6 months 😊
I HAAAATE that can opener. It's ugly, bulky, another thing to sit on the counter to add clutter and no way would I store it only to lug it out of a cupboard every time I needed to use it. Oh, did I mention that it's ugly. Love your channel, so much fun.
My last bit of exercise equipment became a rack to dry my laundry on…that Wonder Arm workout, could definitely clip on my door for hangers with wet laundry! That’s how all my exercise equipment ends up and Those giant rubber bands could definitely come in handy 😂
And btw, Walmart has that little windshield cleaner pad for like $3.99 with no sprayer and Amazon has the original Wizard with built-in sprayer for $14.00…a generic version on Amazon for $8.99
You don't need the trash bag thingy. Just throw the box of trash bags into the bottom of your trashcan (outside of the trash bag that's holding the trash, of course).
Just put some extra garbage bags at the bottom of your garbage can. Also the can opener is way over priced!!!! I have the Black and Decker from Walmart. It works great and was cheap. Love your videos. So much fun to watch!!! Thanks!!! 😀😀😀
We got one of those windshield cleaners like 15 years ago at dollar tree. Don't know if they still sell them there. It didn't have a reservoir for liquid though.
That windshield cleaner thing is great, but you can't use the sprayer part. I just put a little bottle of windex with mine and use them together because I don't like to spend all day refilling and hoping it won't leak (it does). So is it worth $19.99? No. But I found one similar at Dollar Tree once upon a time (same product but no sprayer, and came with 4 of those scrubby covers). That has been well worth the price, but I haven't ever seen them at Dollar Tree again. I look every time I'm there though in case they bring them back! 😆
I got a windshield washer thing with no fluid reservoir from China a couple of months ago and it was $2. If the sprayer doesn't hold much, just get one without it.
