So sad she is not happy Cannot understand why arsenal have treated her that way She is one of the best players in the wsl Brillant player Terrible treatment, she been there 7 years . Words fail me Best wishes viv meidema for your future 🎉
Deeply disappointed in Arsenal…what poor decision and a mistreatment of a legend (who is still only 27!). I hope she kicks their ass in a big game next year.
Viv, thanks for great goals, thanks for making arsenal woman fc a joy to watch, I love you always and I will forever be a fan of you any where you go. Tears in my eyes as I see you leave this great club. Viv: forever in our heart.
Greetings from Malaysia, Vivianne Miedema is the greatest woman footballer of all time in the WSL. Why Arsenal is such a cold hearted club. You can see that she is sad to go but Vivianne Miedema made the right decision as Arsenal did not appreciate her talent. She is back and will destroy Arsenal's chance of winning any championship title in the near future. I hope to see that and Arsenal club will be crying then The next club that gets her will be the most luckiest club as Vivianne Miedema will be winning trophies for them. Arsenal club loss big time. Jonas Eidvall, should get tbe sack as his coaching style cannot beat the best team in Europe.
@@nazziwawinnie7782it's her not his and the other thing you don't understand why fans are pissed is because of the manner she's been let to go! they didn't offer her any contract and it's not like she's washed, she is actually still very good imagine she was the player of the match in her last game that tells you alot
@@yekoedwin4338 players come and go..however much they are loved by the fans.we have seen players leaving when they are offered contracts..So if she decided its time to experience another challenge in life then it's ok..Rice left West ham just to experience a new environment
@@nazziwawinnie7782 She wasn't offered a new contract by Arsenal, and saying players come and go overlooks how many mistakes Arsenal has made over the last five seasons.
The team needs a rebuild. About time we sign players so we can compete again. Chelsea has won the league 5 times on the bounce. We need a formidable team, and Viv has spent more time injured than on the field for over 3 seasons now. We need a team and we will have to let some players go.
@@ifeanyismoothjerry2723 3 seasons? 1,5 seasons honey... And a rebuild? She has 50 assists and 127 goals in 175 games. She on average scores or sets up a goal in every game she plays, tell me what other forward has those stats? Letting her go now is complete and utter bullshit. They should have given her a year to truly get back to form after her complicated injury. If she couldn't prove she can get back to her pre-ACL form then you can decide to let her go. That's the respectful thing to do, this reeks of a small dick manager who can't handle a player who speaks her mind
The heartbreak is that she wanted to stay. She could have left before but extended her contract for 2 more years. They didn't even bother offering her a contract. I hope the Gooners make up a 'Fuck you Jonas' chant and sing it at every game.
Arsenal took all the goals and then tossed her in the bin. Didn't even give her her flowers. Jonas said in the pre-brighton press conference he doesn't see her as part of arsenal's future success 🙄
Of course VM was, and still is, a great player, but didn't the Arsenal teams that JE selected in the absence of both Miedemar and Mead due to their ACL injuries get some good results? They would have topped the league easily if they hadn't squandered matches against Liverpool, Spurs and West Ham, matches they should've won. As one door (Miedemar) closes, two more (Russo and Blackstenius) will open next season. Give JE the benefit of the doubt; if Arsenal fail next season, then we'll know for sure he got it all wrong. But we've got Russo and Blackstenius.
@@Onthemove6801 Would've should've could've, if they hadn't squandered all those games! There's four other teams that could say that. He's had the benefit of the doubt for seasons now and hasn't delivered, but please keep giving him more chances. 😂
@@Onthemove6801 he has recruited runners and tall forwards for headers for all the crosses he loves ( how many fruitless crosses did they do against liverpool): Amanda, Cloe, Stina, Alessia, Victoria, Frida, Kyra, Emiley. His playing style is for midfield to get the ball to the wings or fullbacks, cross it in for the 9 or lob it over to the 9 running thru the opponent's back line. Viv is neither here or there but rather a mix of duties done by the 9 and 10. Swedes are black and white, there's no coloring between the lines.
That was a hard watch ...Gunners rode on her back for so many years as the only beacon of pride for the Women's team. But this was needed to be done to break the status quo of us not winning the WSL. We need 11 players of Viv's quality in different roles to match the Club's ambition of being the best in England and Europe. In the current squad only McCable,Williamson,Fox,Pellova and Russo got the requisite quality to take us there.
Jonas a disgrace, didn’t make it to group stage of champions league and poor outting in the league. Won’t be surprised if our next legend leave BM9, we will not win a next major title under him. 172 appearances 125 goals and 50 assist that’s a goal contribution in every game and she is just hit her prime. That’s BS
No, it's the men's stadium. Their revenue built it and their revenue continues to keep it going. You sold it out once when people tried really REALLY hard to do so. The men sell it out regularly. When you start bringing in billions in revenue every year it can be your stadium, too. That said, I feel terrible for Miedema. I am so sorry to see her go, especially under these circumstances.
Better than Russo and Blackstienus put together. Both those players are shameful in front of goal. Couldnt hit a donkeys arse with a banjo! Miedema is same age, is much better all round.
