We see in video that what are different of colors of pink sapphires with real examples (Natural sapphires from various origins like Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Burma, etc).
We see what is vivid pink sapphire (and a specific type of vivid pink sapphire which is Hot pink sapphire / Electric pink sapphire- this is a much stronger pink like a neon pink) and a bubblegum pink sapphire and a pastel pink sapphires.
We also learn the different type of padparadschas briefly. The padparadschas are also sapphires, just a different color of sapphires (orange and pink colors combined). They can be pinkish orange, orangish pink, or pink-orange in more or less equal proportions, etc.
Whenever we grade the colors, there is always a range of colors that we have to place them in, like vivid pink is a broader range, and hot pink is a part of vivid pink.
This video is not a replacement for laboratory grading, but just to give you an idea of what pink colors are there and how to preliminary judge the pink sapphire color.
There are lot of videos on youtube misleading buyers of sapphires or sapphire jewelry telling them the color of sapphires which are actually misleading. Please be cautious and educate yourself before buying a gemstone or jewelry.
Always see your sapphire in different lighting conditions as to which suits you the best.
