Great cameras (even has a periscope zoom lens), large 5700mAH battery size, 100w fast charging, beautiful Samsung E7 screens with small bezels yet still thin and light for a foldable that weighs almost the same as a S24 Ultra. Great job Vivo for checking most of the boxes while still costing slightly less to import than a Z Fold 6.
@@Havsue and lose google playservices? Even if you make it work somehow, these chinese phones are worse when you try connecting to android auto. No esim support. No pen support. I have used OnePlus open for a while before the inner screen cracked for no reason and i moved back to s24u. But that color os based oxygen software was supposed to be tue best chinese global rom experience and boy did it suck. ui inconsistency, notification issues, lack of esim at launch, android auto issuss etc. Can't Imagine how worse this funtouch OS will be. Trust me, software is the most important in user experience, after the initial fooling around with the device ends, you want the software to work consistent. Thats the biggest fail with these chinese phones. Dont even want to talk about customer service and resale/tradein. So goodluck.
Vivo fold 3 pro are available as global version. Average dad tech Store, Wonda mobile. Chinese version also available in this stores and Trading shenzhen. Austria have got Vivo in stores but no other countries so far

I'm a Samsung fan, and I proudly owned Z fold 3, 4, and 5 the time it was released. I love foldables. Unfortunately, every time, my excitement grew a huge frustration due to its candy like folded design and poor battery life. Back then, there weren't many alternatives when it came down to foldables. But this time, I didn't make the same mistake again. I bought the mighty Vivo X fold 3 pro. Mate, i tell you it's a beast! When you hold X fold 3 pro as folded in your palm, it's a joy and feels like a proper phone with no sacrifice! Don't get me wrong, I use an S24 ultra as my primary phone and daily driver, which I love most. Unfortunately, Samsung foldables aren't growing much nowadays. Other brands are listening to their customers and went ahead of Samsung. If you're thinking of getting a foldable, Vivo X fold 3 pro could be your first choice!

The only downside for most people here is no trade ins, and it not being offered through a carrier. It's an amazing device, I have a global X100 Pro and love it...that said it's a hefty chunk of change to pay out of pocket whereas with the Z Fold you'll be able to trade in a device towards the cost, or finance it through your wireless carrier.
Same. When you buy a phone you're not just buying hardware, but also software and service. Samsung still beating vivo overall there. But believe me once other companies can match Samsung software and service I would switch.
I have the vivo x fold 3 pro and it's legit! Z fold 6 coming to compare but I can't see it beating the vivo. The honor magic v3 is vivo's real competition. Lookin forward to mix fold 4 too. As usual, love your videos

I would switch but samsung trade in program is what keeping me. I can trade in my fold 4 and add about 700-800 and get the fold 6 which is trash but the trade in makes a huge difference
1) trade-ins. 2) servicing and insurance. I also have a Fold 4 and looking to get a newer phone but I am worried about servicing it. (I have had to get a Samsung replacement about once per year for inner screen coming up, hinges issues due to sand). Verizon insurance covers it, also I’ve used Samsung Care with success in the past. Not sure how I would service an imported phone.

I'm watching from my white vivo x fold 3 pro 16 GB ram , 1 tb storage. Definitely a beast of a phone. I left Samsung Foldable series 3 years ago for this. I've had every vivo foldable except the 2.
I think we'll agree that smart phone cameras have all sufficiently evolved to a point where they are all so good, they no longer deserve to take close to half of the total duration of a video review about a smartphone

My only problem is damage/repair, I damage my Samsung in the UK and a mobile unit comes, parks outside my home and fixes it in 1 to 2 hours. What do I do if my vivo screen gets damaged? Then there's Dex, dual WhatsApp and my Galaxy Watch. To top it off I get £100 off plus 10% discount plus trade in making the Fold 6 only £1,196. Is it enough to accept the deficiencies of screen, camera and battery?
I’m considering the Vivo X Fold 3 myself. Wonda mobile is doing the 16GB/512GB for £1077 with the 4.2% Bank transfer and $5 welcome discount. I use the DEX feature a lot on my S23 Ultra. As far as I know this device can only mirror the device on to an external monitor.
Never thought I would say this being a hardcore samsung fan boy! Samsung have become complacent just sitting back and watching the competition like Apple have always done. This fold is on another level. All the reviews I have seen on you tube about this just blow away the z fold 6!

One plus would have given a tough competition to this foldable as despite lagging behind the cameras it would have made up with the price difference as they don’t have price disparity from their home country so it will be interesting what they do next year as they decoded to skip this year…also their software support will more than makeup for any shortcomings…PS for all those thinking where is Samsung it would be safe to say even last year’s foldable will crush the current one 😂

Even with all its incredible strengths, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro isnt perfect: - No esim - No stylus support - If you didnt like 21:9 screns from Xperias, you wont like this phone - On aggregate, the worst foldable at multitasking (can't display 3 apps at full screen, no Recent Files) - The only foldable who's camera app cant do cover screen preview, or in general use both cover & inner screen at the same time - shortest software support (only 3 years of software updates & 4 years of security updates) - With how much the X Fold3 Pro's machine translation minces words and rearranges sentences, you probably wouldnt want to use it to translate formal documents (but its the most fun machine translation for general use, it likes to tell a story)
Great hardware on the vivo but what makes samsung shine is the software, now if the new fold wouldve been vivos hardware and samsungs software that wouldve been like the perfect fold

Great review & best foldable yet.Only they could provide better & optimised software support.We have to see how the inner screen performs overtime coz the Oneplus Open had dead screen after a while.
This is probably the only foldable phone that I would rather buy not only because of the cameras & chipset. The external display alone is perfect for ultrawide cinematic movies (21 by 9), whereas the internal display (4 by 3.5) is just nice for retro game emulation.
this has and is an amazing device if you have the cash to put out for it, ive updated from the vivo x fold 2 to the 3 pro (CN) and now android auto works in the US in the latest software update. The display colors and brighness put everthing to shame. The battery last so long, i can use google pay, android auto (car play is just better) and large display put the others to shame, if anything, trying to find a screen protector that allows for the front finger print scanner has been nearly impossible.
Two questions I can't find answer to: 1.Can the outer screen be used to show what you're shooting with the main camera? (When i'm taking shots of my wife, can she see what i'm taking on that outer screen when unfolded?) That would be a life changer. 2.Can you change the background blur AFTER you take a portrait shot? (Samsung can, Honor can't).

Until these phones are officially available in my country not taking the risk. 5G, e-sim etc are usually not working at all and you have to send it to repairs overseas when needed.

Unfortunately the Global version is over $2k USD bringing to the US and $1400 USD Chinese rom. I paid $900 USD for the Fold 6. Don't get me wrong I really wanted the Vivo but it would have come at an additional $500 USD or more.
