Hi LL, you've chosen a perfect time to buy the Vivo X100 Ultra. It underperformed significantly against the X100 Pro upon launch (and cost up to $1299 which has since lowered to $999 to import from a certain website), and users on Chinese social media were complaining that it was overhyped as its camera was worse than it in many scenarios and shooting conditions. I've been receiving firmware updates on my Ultra every week for the past month and I can confidently finally say they've fixed most issues. Its zoom and low light performance have just in the past week been able to easily surpass my X100 Pro. Given Vivo's unstoppable track record with big firmware updates on their X100 Pro, I'm feeling optimistic the Ultra will continue that trend.
@@rrocckky I have a Vivo X100 Pro side by side that I bought in January 2024 and an Ultra from Giztop. My Ultra is running firmware v14.0.12.0.W10 that was released 1st of July and LL has always acknowledged and seen my regular comments regarding the X100 Pro's firmware updates in the past few months as I'm a big fan of the phone. Stop trolling and go see an optician to get your eyes tested.
Awesome to see you get this one as well! Really excited to see how the cameras compare to the Find X7 Ultra, especially for the zoom and general outdoors photos!
Colors are changing on video when you zoom from ultrawide camera to telezoom. Ultrawide has the worst colors, pounchy green yellow grass and plants. Main camera has a liitle much color for me, but ultrawide is too much. That is so ugly for me.
Here in the uk you can buy the 100 pro for 580£ vs 100 ultra 835£ will be good see if you think its worth the extra money. Looking forward to see what you think.
@@andreasrohde9122 Ja. Ich hab mir die Hintertür aufgelassen, dass es von jemand anderrm finanziert wird 🤣 Aber manchmal bin ich auch nen Lappen der sich einfach umentscheidet
@@lltechview would be great if You compare both of them in macro, lot of people is complaining that Pro is doing more sharp photos of insects. I wonder what's the truth and if Ultra really has some issues with focus or it's just too narrow. Thanks.
@@michalpopielas7020hi, yes, for sure, I had pro, now ultra. The ultra can give incredible portrait shots, but often, the picture is blurred and not perfectly focused. And this is not about insects only, it's about all subject. I regret my x100 pro, really. It's much more complicated to have incredible shots with the ultra. The 200mpix is crazy but ask 4-5 seconds without absolutely no mouvement. Some portrait shots have such deep field which give crazy feel, but unfortunately, this is rare. Overall, I have this phone since 5 days now and it did not give the crazy feeling of the x100 pro when 99% of pictures where good... Finally, the battery is really really really bad on the x100 ultra. I see numbers going down much faster than the x100 pro with the exact same usage
