That was really unexpected.I was somewhat disappointed by xiaomi 13 ultra processing despite having great hardware.Xiaomi changed their algorithm from 14 series along with hyper os.The hair strands were visible on xiaomi portraits so edge detectiom was very good.Great work,appreciate for giving us a stellar comparison in freezing cold weather.
I guess selfie is still a task for vivo. Xiaomi 14 was the clear winner in that segment, great job Xiaomi. Otherwise they are pretty close with each of them having strong and weaker points. Competition will be tough next year
Great comparison. This year the Xiaomi 14 is very good and the definite winner between these two. Big improvement on the Xiaomi 13. I think a comparison with the Xiaomi 14 pro would also be interesting as the hardware is very similar. I guess the other 'gaming phone' with better camera performance than the Vivo x100 you are referring to is probably the IQOO 12.

From the spec sheet alone, I feel Xiaomi 14 has improved its hardware/software ratio by 50/50. On the other hand, we all know Vivo's software is no slouch. Improved camera software plus a step in hardware might just give the Vivo X100 the win. Those are my speculations though, I'm waiting for the trusty Hans Tech Talk to present the final honest content on this... This is the channel.

Best comparison of these two devices on youtube. Probably because you use models for the test (for me it´s the right way to compare), unlike most other youtubers who focus more on pictures of flowers and trees, zoom 50x, 70x, and other useless stuff. Xiaomi was indeed better in almost all scenarios . Vivo was better in low light situations and has now the best Tele Lens, even better than Samsung s23

I am super happy with the performance given by the xiaomi 14, except low light ..... But xiaomi played very well😊 and one more thing I also like the design of a xiaomi 14 more better I like the warm tone in the photo .... So for me the winner is xiaomi

Xiaomi has proved to me that they have stepped up thier camera software this time...... This is really good even though the x100 put up a tough fight the xiaomi 14 was consistent except in low light

Personally, I like the appearance of the Xiaomi 14, but the size is a little bit small, hope it has a 6.7'' display. Anyway, the camera performance is nice.

i take my word Xiaomi 14 perform way better than Vivo x100 especially on selfie video and takes more natural photos❤❤, and finally they removed the heavy beautification on selfies⚡⚡
