This is something I'd like to integrate into my VJ set. Something where myself or the audience could move and manipulate the video as it plays.

Are there any solid alternatives to these magewell capture cards to make Notch talk to Resolume? They're a bit pricey...

How does ones capture live video feed with a DSLR and have it projected back onto the back wall of the Stage. Iv always been curious...I work as a Lighting Technician in a Theater in Ireland...I always wanted to dabble into doing live music shows to see if I could create some cool effects. Can this software see a DSLR camera connected via mini HDMI to a laptop and a 4K Projector via HDMI or VGA. I'm assuming it would any tips.. I see the layout of this software its very similar to how you add UV maps in 3DMAX and the node panels on bottom right reminds me of how Premier and AE looks with the FX Panels. The software does look nuts good job guys :)

In the video, Comix goes through how their setup works. You can indeed connect cameras such as DSLRs to Notch through a capture card, add real-time effects, and then send the output to a screen or wherever you want really. Thanks for the nice comments on the software was well!

Its actually really easy, You would just use resolume arena and go to sources, plug the camera in usb and drag it, go to output and select your projector which would be pointed at the stage, and ya
