VK 45.02 A: Felt a bit dirty today!| World of Tanks 

I have over 1500 battles in this tank. It was pretty OK back I the day, but like u said in current meta it's below average.

In a city map the VK B is still king over the E-75.

@@artm1973 No, it isn't. Its gun has a lower alpha, which means it trades worse. It has much lower track traverse, which means it can't quickly react to tactical changes, such as having to turn to face an enemy that's flanked it or appeared somewhere unexpected. On top of that, it has a much lower speed limit, which prevents it from exploiting of gaps in the enemy's line of defense, as well as taking early, advantageous positions before other heavies reach them. Its gun also has a longer aim time, which means it has to expose itself for a longer period when moving out of cover to take a shot. Finally, it has a considerably weaker turret front, which means that enemies will have a much easier time firing through the front of it with gold rounds and even high penetration standard rounds, which completely negates any advantage in side-scraping it may have over the E 75. In all, it's slower, worse armed, and worse armored.

@@DovahFett Huh, you're right, alpha is lower, though VK's reload is the tiniest bit faster. E-75's aim IS faster though not by much. Turret is almost identical (I thought they were) but E-75 is 280 vs 265. The VK's turret for some reason seems to bounce more though. If I'm at one end of the hallway in Safe Harbor and at E-75 is at the other, I have no fear of him penning me, whereas I will likely pen him. Same with heavy spot at Siegfried Line. I agree its speed and traverse speed make it far less versatile than the E-75. I've been on a rear mounted heavy kick lately, don't know why lol. And when did people start acting like meta is a word in the context they use it in WOT? lol

@@artm1973 Well it had nice front plate at one point but they nerfed it. u can side crape round the corners, but its easy to be flanked. I think E-75 is still better.

@@joe125ful Before all the power creep Tier 8 premiums and heavies started to become more common (so like 8 years ago), the VK A was really strong. It was pretty fast compared to most other heavies, so you could take it to medium tank positions on maps and beat up the enemy mediums with a tank that had more armor than them, more alpha than them, and enough mobility to chase them down if they tried to run.

@@joe125ful WoT was a very different game 8 years ago. And more enjoyable, imo.

@@PerritoGG Define enjoyable:) Arta can one shot you MM suck and many tanks was broken,high corridor maps suck and you can shoot throw rock on one map...but yes most of the games was not 15:0 simulator,HE ammo was unbalnced as hell too and team balance/tanks balance was broken too. But look on bright side,new maps,tank buffs,fixed climbing,arta fixed,a lot more detailed/balanced maps,lots of new tanks..

@@joe125ful The game has more corridors maps now than ever. It used to hace way more open maps before. The one with the swamps and the one in the peninsula were freaking hilarious. Discounting artillery, at least people had a lot of options in op tech tree tanks. Now there are only a few op premium tanks and the game is infested by them, you see them every game. The game was clowny and one had fun rolling around even with a peashooter. Now the game isn't clowny but it isn't competitive either, just a shitshow.

WG have no ears or feelings so I doubt Mr Baboon will send the survey to them.

I'm sure sitting in bushes and camping is the riveting game play the vast majority of his consumer base for his videos wants to watch. Lights are boring lmao.

@@billdover3165 that's what u think. Its a combination of fear of getting spoted and excitement at the same time. And seeing how assisting DMG is going up is equaly satisfying as dealing DMG. U gotta be very Smart to be great light tank and when ure outplaying entire enemy team by sitting/active spotting them all ... Seeing how that affects results of battles...... How can u tell its boring

Yeah, but reclassifying it as a medium would make the transition to the Panzer VII more akward.

@@DGARedRaven I would have to somewhat agree. I still believe the change would be for the better. The 45a is pretty bad and very unbecoming of the tank at the end of the line. It doesn't teach you the proper techniques for pz vii playing. Then again the whole line besides the ten is a poor example of technique. The pzvii is a unique tank with an playstyle that is very different. Its the one tank in the game where you actually want them to shoot at your front plate.

I like design VK too but other things suck:(
