I know quite some time has passed since you did the installation of the adaptor and chances are high that you have stopped using the Warthog grip on your Gunfighter Mk.II, possibly now a Mk.III, base, but would it be possible to do a video on how the Warthog grip works in combination with the VKB base? Useful to know that it isn't a simple adapter that fits between the base and original TM stick. That must have been a possible solution if the internal interface adapter can get power and signals. Their solution gives a neat and tidy result at the expense of swappability and multiple grips. 😢 I was considering a VKB base but have 3 grips so I'll stick to the TM base with 6 inch extension which works perfectly for me.
Hi. I have the VKB gunfighter base, but I don't have a VKB stick. I bought the Thrustmaster F18 stick, I chose this stick because I didn't like the VKB grips. However, I found that the thrustmaster stick is much heavier than the VKB sticks which are made of plastic or aluminum. Could this be a problem for the gunfighter's forcefeedback? What was your experience? With the springs 50, can this problem be solved?
@@MCP2002 with forcefeedback I was referring to the force of the springs. Spoiler: yes, the weight problem of the TM stick affects if you use an extension, in fact I had to resort to aluminum vkb sticks.
In VKB configurator go to the External devices and choose the TM Warthog adapter. I'm setting the profiles for MCG Pro or KG12, and probably soon for Viper head, from there.
The TM Warthog adaptor is sold separately for $40.00/42,00€. There is also the option to purchase just the Gunfighter Mk.III base with the adaptor included. However, you might have already guessed it, with the option to include the adaptor the price of the base rises by $40.00/42,00€.
Sometimes the adapters got discounted. I've got mine for 25 eur. And thank God I did it for just in case, because mine is for 5 pin connectors and unobtanium now.
