Welcome to Vloctober! Watch and marvel as I hurt my teeth while trying to "have fun and join the band." In other news...
*** HAVE A HART DAY UPDATE***: Massive props to the City Captains and all who volunteered this month! Check out the full list here: have-a-hart-day...
- San Francisco! (4 HAHD volunteers, 2300 lbs repackaged total!)
- Oklahoma! (7 HAHD volunteer!)
- NYC! (8 HAHD volunteers - 25,000lbs of produce! / 6 HAHD volunteers - 85lbs of leftovers rescued!)
- Auckland ( Coming soon!)
- Orlando! (16 HAHD volunteers!)
- Los Angeles! (8 HAHD volunteers were a part of the 60,000lbs repackaged!)
You guys are incredible and deserve all the awards and then some. I'm so happy to be a member of a community with such good-h(e)arted and inspiring folk!

I am so dead right now. I am more than happy to do Have a Hart Day, and frankly, just genuinely happy and excited that it exists. Thank you for coming up with the idea, you beautiful human being. And yes, HUGE props to Helen! She is the bees knees. GO VOLUNTEERING NICE PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET.

Jaw harps sound sooooo cool. You should try it again. The lips shouldn't be touching the instrument and the thing you flick to make sounds (I have no clue what to call it) shouldn't touch your teeth or lips. I am faaaar from good at it, but I know the basics =)

You have to rest your teeth on the upper and lower metal parts of the jaw harp (some have an elevation on that spot) so that the tongue of the harp can't bang against your teeth...after you figured that out, it's supereasy and fun! :)
