When you need a break from Palia, I think you’d really like Strange Horticulture- it’s (I think- I’m halfway through) a puzzle mystery game where you run a plant shop in the Lake District. It’s not exactly cosy but it’s very vibey- definitely seems your jam! X

omg i love "The Savior's Book Cafe Story in Another World" series, it gets better. It's the reason why i love cozy fantasy manga. You should try "Hi, I'm a Witch and My Crush Wants Me To Make a Love Potion" (i know it's a long title lol) but it's really good, i prefer it than the savior book cafe 🤭

I struggled to get through Legends & Latte's, it seems that everyone else loved it, I wanted to, but...

I am the same with games. If I like it I will replay it like eight times before moving on. I do have a few recommendations. The first is Strange Horticulture, which I have seen recommended by someone else in the comments. You inherit a plant shop from a dead relative. You begin with certain plants. You travel around to find more. You have a book with descriptions to be able to identify the plants. You also get labels in which you use to remember what plants are what. And people come to you for assistance asking for help or for you to use your plants in other ways. There is a story to play out, but there are multiple endings and your choices does affect what ending you get. So your playthroughs can really differ from one another. There are also witches in the woods, a cult forming in which you can join, and people are getting murdered. It is good fun and I think you will get something out of it. Another game is The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood. This is a witchy space game, in which you are playing as an exiled witch who specialises in fortune telling. You call a type of demon to you to assist you, and shortly afterwards things begin to change. These changes begin with the demon assisting you in building your own tarot deck, and I don't mean the fool and so on, I mean you make your own. Your decisions also affect the outcome of the game, and I think you will dig the style as well. The last game I have to recommend is not a cosy one but horror, and I am weary to recommend it because it does come with a list of trigger warnings and I don't just mean the content but sensory things as well such as flashing lights. The trigger warnings does show up when you open the game so I imagine they will be easy to find online as well. Bramble: The Mountain King, the game in question, is a horror game based off Norse mythology. In it you play as a young boy who's sister was stolen by trolls and you are looking to get her back. You come across many mythological creatures such as gnomes and trolls in this gorgeously designed game in this magical forest which is for the most part is trying to kill you. As someone who loves mythology as well, I got so much out of this game and it was my favourite game of last year. I think you will get something out of it as well.

When I read Legends & Lattes I thought it was a little boring and slow but I loved how it made me feel especially in the second half, it did make me feel cozy 😊 I realized I don’t care about reading day fo day life unless it’s fantasy 😂

I completely relate to not being able to read something that is too close to my own life. If it doesn't feel like an escape, or a dream version of reality (like my dream job or dream time period etc.) I just can't get into it.

I love Palia!! I started playing it on PC and the vibes, the art, the world - stunning. I'm not sure if you've tried stardew valley yet but that's now my obsession! Its cozy but has a lot of plot and lore to unlock so I feel like you might like it? I don't know if you'd be interested in trying Bookshops and Bonedust but I do think you'd like it more because there's more of a fantasy plot alongside the cozy one. It would also make for a great spring or summer read as its set in a small seaside town! Up to you though. I think Travis' writing improved a lot too between the two books. I also saw Yona of the Dawn on your shelf 👀 I love that series so much! Very interesting political intrigue and character relationships. Also somehow manages to at points have some wholesome vibes between all the fighting and scheming 😂 Anyway, thanks for the video! Needed the cozy vibes desperately ☕

Legends &Lattes was almost a 3 🌟 and the 2nd book Bookshops and Bonedust was a 4 🌟 I like The House Witch series. I dont read manga. Im 60 though. People my age dont know what it is 😉

I love "Legends and Lattes, it gives me so much DnD vibes. Have you read 'All the Consumes us' or 'How to "unalive" your employer' if you haven't i think theyd be great reads, they are not cozy books...maybe more Dark academia

I also did not like Legends & Lattes very much. I personally did not care for chunks being about adding something to the blackboard menu. It felt repetitive. I actually preferred the second book which had more going on and higher stakes.

It's a interesting fact that are things that you enjoy the vibes or in other medias like games, music etc, but not in your reading, which is ok I'm more a manga slice of life person than a book slice of life
