This is my backyard, basically. It’s unbelievable how long they make them these days, last Monday afternoon I was stuck at the Bealville crossing when a SIX locomotive head unit rolled by. I wonder what the limit is. Four I see often, but I don’t think I’ve seen six many times, if ever.

Six locomotives??? I’m assuming that bnsf , they tend to do that a lot. As as for the limit I believe they can have as many as they want however there is a limited amount that can be running at one time.

It was BNSF indeed. Usually you see locomotives spread out something like three in front and two at the tail end, sometimes one or two in the center. Also sometimes a locomotive in Ferromex livery, I wonder what’s up with that.
