Well done on the ADR passes, I'm in a tipper now and constantly surprising myself with where I can get my 8 wheeler in😂 I'm in a Scania P410 15 plate, 4 over 4, bit of a plodder loaded but goes well with a light load of semi dry concrete. The tippers are higher for the ground clearance and to keep out of the massive puddles at quarries, usually have a vertical exhaust pipe too. Have a good week and see you in the next video
My father drove tipper lorries for a while in the sixties.Some company’s paid by the load,so that’s why you see some of them rushing around.I don’t know if that is still a common practice though.
I drive a tipper, I get hourly rate and breaks paid for, somedays if you are lucky and it's a short run between loading and tipping you can get in 7-8 loads but that does depend on traffic and the queues at the quarries to weigh in and out and how many others are picking up the same material as you are, always a queue for Type 1 at Whatley, then there is the hill outside the gate😳

Do you know if there is a driving simulator available anywhere in the local area, for either wannabe car or truck drivers? I have been on one, it was at the old BSM (British School of Motoring) when it was in Lichfield Street in Wolverhampton centre 15 years ago. I know about the racing car simulators, I have been on them in Blackpool, Llandudno etcetera until as recently as 4 years ago.

Brilliant vlog Hayley, be good if you could drive a mirror cam Actros to compare as Jenko felt the Mirror cam wasn’t as good on the DAF XG he had a go of at Ferryman. Cool to see those racing drivers too especially as I drive with Hand Controls.
