Watch along as I skate Tony Hawks warehouse and try to learn a switch Backside Boneless. An underrated skateboard trick that is as hard as it gets to make on vert.
People who don’t skate never see this side of progression: the 1,000+ failures prior to landing your first. There is no euphoria like finally overcoming whatever was holding you back and rolling away clean. And, like anything, some tricks come easier than others. Thank you for sharing not only the process itself but your real time thoughts as you got closer and closer. Love the content.
I've watched you skate since you were like 22 I think. You're 12 years older than me. You and Tony were always my top 2 favorites to cheer on through all the comps. But as life goes on some of us grow out of our passions and find new passions. I found cars and through that found you again when you appeared on Leno's Garage. I had no idea you were into cars and were still around doing things because I haven't kept current with the extreme sports scene in awhile but I'm glad I found you again. It's been so much fun remembering all the past experiences and even following along with new ones like the build of Buckit. I'm glad to see the passion in life you still have and how uplifting your views are. Lately I've slowly given up on alot of stuff, but watching you is a reminder to enjoy what you love and those around you. Thank you Bucky!
Buck old school bmx cat from nyc ,I totally was into you n cab and thrasher mag back in the rad years 86,87,88. I just jumped back into bmx and retired when Covid hit us here in nyc,,,your a inspiration to see and I’m now binging your channel,,I was never a car guy at all,but you have flipped something inside me ,and now are digging my car more lol just crazy 😜 stay rad Buck……..
been a fan since 97. i was 7 when i first started watching skateboarding on tv. now i get to watch you skate and build your car.. i follow for both so your channel is the combo i needed
This is amazing cause it puts into perspective how hard this stuff is and how much work goes into getting better. Bucky is one of the best skaters on earth and he goes through the same mental hardships as all the rest of us to learn a trick. Thanks for keeping it real!
That was awesome Bucky but the most impressive thing was at the end, while you were talking about the trick, there was kid in the background doing your stretching exercise. You're impact and mentoring on this sport is phucking heroic. The kids appreciate that and so do I. Its our future.
@@buckyeah3382 Don't t me wrong Bucky, that was a badass trick and your dedication shows. This is a prime example of why you're a world champion, and that kid copied your moves....It's cool to be a mentor.
I love how the video shows the process. Been a big fan since I saw you in the first Powell video all those years ago. More of these types of videos would be great.
The switch backside boneless was Nuts 😳. I'd be so damn sore after 50+ attempts. Appreciate you sharing your warm up routine Bucky. That's how real athletes get it done. Motrin 800mg helps too 😂🍻🤙🤙
My first skate video was Tony Hawk’s gigantic skatepark tour. You’ve been a favorite ever since and to see you still pushing the limits and progressing at your age keeps the fire burning in me to continue to push myself as I get older. You rule Bucky and that trick was no joke! Keep the skate edits coming!!
HELL YEA!!! THAT WAS SO RAD!!! Phenomenal job ya old dog 😉🤙🛹❤ 47 years young and still making it look good!! Hell yeah! Thanks for sharing stuff with us- it gives me something to look forward to!! #BuckYeah 🤙🛹🍻
Love to see you legends STILL at it!! 😎🙌🏽 Loving the channel, the contents really cool and fun, awesome to see that you’re a huge car guy and still have your skate roots!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 KEEP EM COMING LEGEND!! 🙏🏽🏎🔥🔥🔥
It’s dope seeing you all still shredding. I met both you and Andy Mac back in 2002 at the gravity games summer series. Andy Mac landed a 900, Mitchie Brusco was this little 5 year old dropping in on vert and I still have the poster you signed for me. Now I watch mostly for the car stuff. Keep inspiring people!!
BuckYeah my mistake it wasn’t the gravity games it was the tooth and nail skate and music festival in poulsbo WA. It wasn’t a comp so maybe it didn’t count for the 900 but Im pretty sure I remember him landing one that day.
You have a bright youtube career ahead of you bucky awesome content got me binge watching. Skating and cars sheeeit who cant get down with that..Lovin the vibes too.🔥!
He'll ya Bucky, great job. I spend a day doing s backside boneless and ended up faceplanting and calling it a day. It's good to see you kicked that tricks ass
Dude that was so awesome, well done! Was a great example of dedication, focus and persistence and you won the battle. Was very cool to capture Tony's first switch drop in too 👊🏻
",but first imma check the oil in the bucket"...this is the best advice you can get as a Subie owner. You should put that on a Tshirt and send me one Bucky❤👍
That must feel great to land a new trick like that at your age Bucky, great content. I love the skating just as much as I do the cars. I always looked up to you at a young age as a skater. But it’s even better now that one of my idols has a clean gc...I’ve had my wrx swapped 99 rs for 6 years now and it’s awesome to know that you have the same passion for subies as I do. I’ve been watching your gc build since ur first videos. Keep it up man, and best of luck
Haahaha nearly threw my phone across the room when you finally landed man I know the struggle your on a whole different level than I could ever achieve but I love skateboarding and the relentless struggle is so real!
Inspirational Bucky!! Rode away like it was no thang! Thats going to be my struggle tonight, just trying to get back a regular one. Thanks for the stoke!!
47 years young and still progressing 👊 We share some mutual homies from back in your Baltimore days. Heard plenty of stories from the boys about you and they all involve skating and ripping around in cars haha. Glad to see nothing’s changed!
Holy shit, nice one Buck! sometimes it just takes a clear mind and a bit of blind confidence to clear off the mob you can get from a day of not landing something.
