I really needed this to motivate me….I’m in spring clinical right now and i feel like I’m drowning. Being a single mom, working part time, and school is no joke. I know it’ll pay off in the end but IM SO DEFLATED!!!! 😢

You are my hero! Nursing school is hard, being a single mom is hard, working another job outside of school is hard- and here you are doing all three! I know it's rough, but you will make it through! If you can survive this season of life, rest assured you will thrive in whatever life throws at you in the future! The fact that you are persevering through so much to fight for what you want, tells me that your are going to be an incredible nurse ❤️

I felt this to my core. I'm a mother of 4 I work 24 to 30 hr a week most of the time and I'm almost done with my first year. I definitely feel defeated some days but I get up and do it!!! Blessings to you gorl

Loved the morning routine piece and truly agree that on days I have a proper and intentional morning, the rest of my day is set :) From my experience being in the ER a few times, I know how busy hospital nurses are!! Y'all are doing well.

I’m an ICU RN also. I clicked on your vid bc I wanted to see how much u would show (bc i know u can’t show much). It was still cool just to see the aesthetic of a hospital in the DC area. You described what we have to do in our job well. It’s physically & mentally challenging working in the ICU. Also, the morning workout is incredibly helpful. I used to do that & loved it. I should start again 😊

I can’t workout prior to going to work. It’s like the sweat won’t stop, despite showering and all. Definitely not doing leg day before a 12 hour shift. Nooo baaaby!!😂 That DOMS is something serious when I try it that way. You’re amazing! 🎉😅

i love your vlogs! I wish I was the type of nurse who would could wake up early before work, but no. Not enough caffeine in the world. I wake up at 6:10 leave at 6:20, make it to work by 6:55 (hopefully) haha!

I had no idea you were working in the DMV area. That’s so cool. Hospitals are really crazy right now. A friend told me that in her ICU, the nurse to patient ratio was 1:8. How is that even allowed? Smh

I am in nursing school as well but in Germany & here the nurses get around 7 patients each depending on how many nurses work that day… sometimes on one unit there will be only two and one student like me… it’s really hard sometimes

Do you have like a registered nurse badge? Once you became a nurse did you get it from them or would you have to buy the badge from Amazon or something
