I've just discovered you on RU-vid and basically spent any spare time over the weekend watching your vlogs and videos! I watch loads of youtubers but absolutely love how you come across, you're so funny, this vlog in particular made me laugh out loud (not the flight cancellation part, that was horrendous- poor you!). Golly what an awful end to a lovely trip. 😫 Just discovered this video but my daughter surprised me with a birthday trip to Venice just before Xmas (2017). It was AMAZING. Loved every second. We had a really sweet gondolier who spoke fluent Spanish and English and he made us laugh so much. He also sang to us , something the others weren't doing!! We also elected the small canals. It was a dream come true. My daughter said " enough of gifting each other things, let's give each other memories" 😍😍😍

That was fabulous!!! I miss holidays!! Watching during the covid period, so no holidays of last few years!!! Your Mum is 60??? Wow, she is a young looking 60!!! Beautiful and chic like you!!! She was so funny, trying to find the perfect gondola man, then sat with her back to him, never seeing him!! And the roses!! I get caught out like that all the time. I cannot be taken anywhere. Every holiday I have, is full of adventures that I never expected or intended to have. When I think back, I am luck to still be here!!!! HA HA, but it was fun, and my colleagues could not wait to hear all about my trips. I think I would like to go to Venice now!!! I was told to cover up is Italy!! Very strange people! Wearing so much when it's so hot!! It typical British, see the sun and tear off our clothes! (or in Simon's case run indoors and put on his tiger/jungle shorts)!!! We went to Venice then Orient express back to Paris, except we all came down with food poisoning! One bathroom between 20 travellers, does not bear thinking about. OMG arrived at Hotel Bristol looking like something a cat dragged in! All of us in various attire from evening dress and dinner suits to nightwear, we laugh now at concierge face. Covered in vomit and other non mentionables. Adored your trip with your gorgeous Mum made me laugh. So enjoy seeing old stomping grounds from Sydney Australia x

Emma I actually paused to say my comment below. I went to Barcelona a few years ago with Ryan Air. OMG never again. Wont go in to it but its just a money crop but Michael O'Leary the owner has pretty gone on record saying he does NOT CARE. Didnt mean to shout but I feel the really very real pain .. allegedly (had to say that for legal reasons )

If they delay your flight or cancel up to 3 hours, you need to sign a form and they will give you back all the transportation/tickets charges. It happened with my friend and they got back all their money from RYANAIR. Even might the accommodation in Barcelona. Worth a try!:)
I follow you on instagram, and I was afraid of watching this vlog because in instastories you behave really snarky with your husband and with your mom in this trip, but this vlog is really lovely.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'snarky' but we all have a sense of humour. You see only my perspective because I am the only one on Instagram but we all act the same way towards each other and we're all perfectly happy, if we can't take the piss out of each other then where's the fun?
