I don't know how I found this channel but I am glad that I did. It is so engaging to hear the excitement in the children's voices. You are more than just a teacher you are an educator and leader! Your vlog is right on time since that was a project that I had to complete in class. You showed that I need to have more energy and engage a little more. If it is not exciting to me how can it be exciting to them!
I have just finished my first prac on year 1 and have a whole new appreciation for your videos. I see so much more now that I've been in the classroom and learned so much from this video. Thank you Mayleen for sharing so much of yourself in your videos. xx

Not me having to remind myself that you are a real person and have a life outside of RU-vid while I wait (im)patiently for your next video each week. I learn so much every time and always end up adding new things to my week that my kids LOVE. Your videos are like a training class/motivation class. Also I'm so glad to see you having such a good time with the other teachers in your school, I bet it makes work life so much easier! Does she have a RU-vid channel too? Loved this vlog (and all your vlogs)! As a third grade teacher, I’m trying to embed more phonics instruction into my day. I am so impressed by the knowledge that your kids have on phonics (like when you were doing your shared writing on the moon). What programs do you use again? Secret stories is the only one I remember right now.

How do you find the time for science? Between literacy and math (both with scripted programs we're strictly required to follow with fidelity 🫠) there is 0 minutes for science or s.s. The only way I can squeeze it in is by taking away either math or reading centers but admin doesn't want us to do that either. Can't win... wish I had time for fun science lessons like this!
