Nice job on the overall descriptions. Also loved the direct to amp comparison. I have my GT-1 as a back up to my GT-1000 just in case. Looking forward to diving a little deeper to its functionality too. Regards, Tom

I've had mine for around 3 years, I am in a position to acquire alternative expensive amps or units for live and recording, I spent a fair bit of time learning how to dial in monster tones, and a much better way to use it, I would never put in into any conventional guitar amp regardless of it's initial expense, I'm hounded very constantly to reveal my tweaks, I won't release them because they are all totally personalised.

Did you connect the gt1 in the katana through the power amp in or through the normal front input,if you connected it through the power amp in you had the preamp on the pedal activated and the out was set to combo amp return right?thats how i have it set up and dont know if its the correct way to use it

Great playing! It's a nice little unit. I don't own it myself, mostly because I already have way too much guitar stuff, but there are plenty of videos that make me interested in getting one.

I ordered Boss GT1 and Tonex Pedal that will arrive tomorrow and Thursday. I will combine both guitar effects gears together. I will use both for my Ibanez (blue) S1070pbz. Salamat sa video bossing.

I'm sure that by now you have found the patch software and learned how to create you own and how to store patches. Also , by now you should know how to do a factory reset so that you can go back to square one if you need to.

Doesn’t noise gate help eliminate buzzing sound if using adapter ?

@@Fayeedtanmregg i have a tele single coil pickups. You can imagine how much noise suppression i used; the tone was almost gone 🤣. My first time using proper multi effects. Self learned guitar more than a decade. I am having trouble creating good patches, it would be great if you have time to upload one about it ☺️

Oh I always go for Energizer. Pricey pero they do last long. Or buy the energizer na rechargeable nalang.

There's probably too much gain. Do check that first if not then it must be your wire.

Hmmmm... I'm more of a digital person and I like it if it's small and easy to carry around. It's the GT1 for me. Pero that doesn't mean the ME80 is bad ah it's just what I'd choose between the two.

master, dili man ingnun nga gi away nako ang BossGT1 ug Boss-Me80 pero if ikaw papilion nga naa sa imong atubangan ang duha? for free? unsa imong kwaon? hehe , or if naa kay experienced sa bossme80? tan-aw nimo mas ok ba kaha bisag dako2x cya pero ang tone ba hehe, salamat master

Good question. We'll find out in a few weeks kay ang BOSS magpadala sa ako ug ME-80 para idemo ug review. I'll get back to this comment after testing the unit.
