Go with your gut on the House decision. I’m thinking you may not be emotionally attached to it so it’s okay to walk away. I do believe it’s inappropriate for the sellers to not consider your offer since they reached out to you two. So your intuition was correct. Waiting two years to restart the house journey might be a better option for both of you. It tends to go fast so before you know it, you’ll be on the hunt again.

I’ve been pregnant twice and honestly I was nervous for the glucose test the first time just cause like you I was worried about the taste and the pressure of drinking it all in a timeframe. I was worried for nothing! The orange flavour is like flat orange crush, it’s suuuuper sweet but I just downed it as fast as I could. If you fail, which I did with my second pregnancy, they make you do do a more in depth test, it’s just longer. This doesn’t necessarily mean you have gestational diabetes as I’ve heard that often you can fail the first test and pass the second, which I did! Afterwards you will have the energy of someone that has had mass amounts of caffeine 😂

At this point, I think that y’all’re better off with renting for another year. Rushing the process of buying a home is something that I regret doing in being a homeowner for almost 2 years now. The market was extremely competitive and I was not able to be present during house hunting at all since I lived in a different state. Also, y’all’d have another year to save even more money for even greater offers and down payment for your future home. Everything will fall in place gradually, all you need is time and patience. 🤍
