I use a TON of salt in my kitchen. Quality, non-iodized salt is a must for canning, preserving, cheesemaking, cooking, baking, and so much more. I only use Redmond Real Salt - totally pure, unprocessed salt rich in minerals and sourced right here in the US! I buy my salt from Redmond by the bucket - use discount code HOPEWELLHEIGHTS for 15% off all Redmond products: shop.redmond.l...
Healthy animal products are a huge part of our diet! We raise a lot of our own, but we also take grass fed desiccated beef liver and use beef collagen and gelatin from Perfect Supplements daily! Use code HOPEWELLHEIGHTS10 for 10% off all PS products: www.perfectsup...

I'm Steph, wife of John & mom of 4 living on a 5th generation homestead. My husband's great-grandparents bought this farm in rural Missouri in 1942. My husband was supposed to take the farm over after high school - but he decided to go a different direction and moved out on his own. At that time he said he'd never get married or have kids. But here we are - 4 kids later and back on the farm. I grew up in town - so farm life has been a new adventure for me and I absolutely love it. I'm learning as I go and opting out of as many broken systems as I can along the way. We've lived here almost five years now, we homeschool our kids here, raise and grow more of our own food all the time, and our last baby was even born here on the farm - my first home birth. Learn with me as I share glimpses into our life on the farm.

I feel like God led me to your channel! I was literally just wondering about how to cook with raw milk earlier today for my large family (we have 8 kids), and also I''ve been thinking about making laundry soap myself because I've been concerned about all the toxins in most cleaning products and your channel came up (I didn't search for these topics or anything)! Anyway, you are amazing and I'm so excited to learn more from your channel! God bless you!

Never had custard with flour but it seems so much easier than using the oven and bain marie. Thanks for sharing.

My children and I went to Styer Farm in Langhorne, PA. We had a wonderful time and we picked fresh apples off the trees. The following day I made your recipe for the brown sugar cinnamon apple bread. Omg it was absolutely delicious 😊 My family enjoyed it and I used my Sourdough starter for the first time 😊 I want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for taking time to make these beautiful videos. This will be my next project, we absolutely love coconut and custard 😊 God bless you and your beautiful family 😊

Forgive my ignorance (and I guess I could just "Google" the answer), but could you just drink the milk as is, after a milking and a cheese cloth strain? Do you not have to treat it with heat or anything? LOVE your page and the amazing, Godly woman that you are!

Yup 😊 it’s healthiest that way cuz the nutrients and beneficial bacteria haven’t been destroyed by cooking or pasteurization!

Hi Beth! With our current setup I just wear a raincoat or dress for the elements. My husband said he would like to build me a milking area but I don’t mind the occasional rain or snow!
