YOU GUYS! I am not lying when I say this had to be one of the most beautifully edited (and shot) videos of all time and I watch a lot of vlogs. I loved the voice-over explanations Tim, very professional and well done. The pool shots are my absolute favorite! I agree, the sink faucet in the room tour does not give proper room for your hands but everything looks stunning! The room, all parts of the resort, THE FOOD! I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THIS AND I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED. I hate burnt marshmallows with a passion lol.

Your videography is on another level! I need those clip transitions like oxygen itself hahaha Sneaky parking garage, pretty cool! The grounds of this resort are gorgeous! That cellar was actually super cool! Glad it was vampire free! I like that sink too! That view is amazing, very good observation spot! That pool sequence was amazing, well done! Delivery to your door, OH MY GOODNESS! This place is amazing! Anything bacon wrapped, I am ALL IN! Little fire roasting marshmallows to end the night, I dig it! Looked like an amazing trip, glad you two enjoyed it! As far as filming and editing, like I said, really good!!!!!
March is the perfect time to go! We had a wonderful time staying during the Spring of 2021, it was very quiet and almost every amenity was available and easy to book. We've yet to stay at Minerals, but we're looking forward to revisiting the resort someday and giving Minerals a try - you'll have to let us know how your stay goes! 😊

I would have never found the cellar either. This is such a beautiful place and you certainly did it justice. Food looked incredible and I loved those outdoor pods. I’ve always wanted to eat on one of those, we had one scheduled for my bday last year but there ended up being a snow storm. Love the teapot in the room. What a large yet cozy room. Washing machine is next level. Love the convenience. Nice you can store stuff in the nightstand. We love coffee on the balcony on trips too. One of our favorite parts of staying at akl, watching the animals in the morning. That pool is insane.
As much as we love our theme parks, this was easily one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! Crystal Springs has it all, and the pool was truly second to none. Definitely something to check out, if you ever make it back up North again 😜 Thanks for watching guys!
This was just an incredible vlog. It looked great, and just made me long to want to be there. The pool was stunning. The food looked delicious and loved the not getting dressed up option to eat lol. Though that winding staircase is beautiful, I would never be brave enough to go down them. It does give me Dracula vibes. And I believe that I'm still alive today because I don't take those risks.

I know this is a long shot, but I’m currently staying at Grand Cascades with my family and although the room service was pretty terrible last night, we’re currently having an early dinner at The Springs Bistro (small menu and already feeling ehh about it and the dinner hasn’t even been served yet) I would like to order that chicken sandwich you got this evening when we get back from the pool and I was wondering what restaurant you ordered it from and what it was called? Luckily you caught us online! 😁 The order was from the Crystal Tavern, which is actually where most of our food came from during our stay. The menu changes seasonally, monthly and annually so I'm not 1000% sure that what I ordered is available exactly as it once came to me - but I _believe_ that what I had was the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich! Thank you! In answer to your question it’s a bit difficult to estimate, and depends on what your activities are and whether or not you’ve booked a package as opposed to room-only. At rack rates for the average stay, I would probably figure on $500-600 a night. 😬 It definitely saves a ton if you’re able to take advantage of any special rates or promotions!
It’s the westernmost part of the Grand Cascades Lodge! Follow the glass-enclosed walkway down towards the golf shops and you’ll find yourself there in no time ☺️
During our stay in 2021 we did not have a microwave in the studio suite - stovetop and oven, but no microwave. However, it’s been a few years now…so things may have changed since! ☺️
