It is so upsetting when that is someone’s job and they are SO negative, sorry you had a bad first experience but don’t let it discourage you! You can get another one before 33 weeks or so and should be able to see her good too then before she is too squished! :) I loved going to a 4d place out of my doc office, they were so kind so def look into that!

The private offices that specialize in ultrasounds are amazing! Don't give up on it because it's moments you can never get back.

I’d find another place to get it done! Way cheaper than the doctor too! When my baby wouldn’t move they made me get up and do jumping jacks, walk up the street anything to get her to move! Also, drink some orange juice before and don’t eat, baby gets tired after food! 😂

If you do another 4d make sure to bring something cold and sweet to drink ! They should of told you that it helps the baby wake up and get squirmy !! Also 30 weeks is not to late 30-32 weeks is the perfect time to get it done bc they are developed and getting chunky and cute to look at!

I can totally understand your frustration! I decided to go to a small ultra sound boutique place and I will admit the atmosphere is so calming and welcoming. My daughter was really stubborn so I always had a little sweets before to get her moving !

Definitely go to a place that specializes in 4D ultrasounds. My mom recently had a baby and at the ultrasound appointment, he was being so stubborn and curled up. The girls brought a speaker into the room, played music, talked to him, got her to get up and walk around so he would move, basically did everything in their power for us to be able to see him. I’m sorry that happened!!

I sent my mom this video and she wanted me to comment lol “Comment and tell her not to be discouraged cause I had that done FOUR times and never got a good look and everything turned out perfectly fine and healthy! And I see all these people with the best 3D pics and I couldn’t even good any really good looks after going 4 times. Now that I see his personality and how he acts shy and buries his face in my chest it all makes sense 🤣” We both love you and your videos!!❤️

How rude! 4D’s are usually around 28-32 weeks 🤔 go to a place that specializes in 4D ultrasounds, it’s much better and they take their time and work with baby!

I don’t even know if my drs office offers a 4d.. but in my experience, the private places are way more personable and enjoyable. They print out so many pics and are super friendly the entire time and will work with you and your baby. With my son, I had an anterior placenta so it was hard in general for them to get pics and they always offered another appointment for free on another day. Sorry you had a bad experience 😕 hopefully you can get another and that’ll make up for it!

I’m so nervous about the anatomy scan and everything… it’s coming up for me. It definitely doesn’t help if the staff is acting like that during an ultrasound. 🥹 I’m sorry you were tore up, Im praying for a safe delivery for you and your sweet girl!

Other places might have Mother’s Day specials going on and they always seem to offer more time or a different appointment if they can’t get pictures of the baby!

Babies usually sleep during the day while your moving because it’s like them being rocked. That’s what I was told when I was pregnant. That’s why they are up being crazy at night because they aren’t being rocked. I was also advised to get a swing that swings from side to side because it mimicks you walking while they are in the womb. Like everyone said- go to a specialist in 4d. They are usually more patient. I never had one personally, but several friends did and said the clinics that just do 4d are apt to try harder since at the drs office they are mostly just checking to make sure they are okay. Sorry you went through this. It’s extremely frustrating as a first time mother. I think that offices do this all day long so they are sometimes desensitized and forget that it’s some patients first time.

Girl go to the 4D Ultrasound Lady in Huntsville. I went Soo many times thru my pregnancy for peace of mind & for fun pics. I know you are from close to where I am and maybe when you are home soon you could see her. She’s amazing! Works with baby & is so so nice!! And if you can’t do it there maybe there is a 4D place close to you!!! 🤍🤍🤍

I went somewhere and I was over 30 weeks and it took us 2 times! If you decide to go again drink some caffeine or eat some type of sugar and get her hyper lol I got some really good pictures the second time I went! And baby ktan has an awesome wrap I used for my boys and they loved it and it was so easy!!

I was told drinking something cold and sweet all get the baby moving for the ultra sound

Summer go to over the moon 4D in boaz I went late in my pregnancy my baby wasn’t in a good spot She worked so hard to get pictures for over a hour! And I got a ton

Overnight oats looks gross but are SO good. Try adding less liquid so it isn’t as “wet”

You are not overdramtic at all! That is very upsetting she acted that way and the situation panned out like that. So sorry to hear that.

See if theres a place near you that does the non medical ultrasounds! They have you try all these different things and have you lay different ways to get babe to show.

Try to go to a private ultrasound place!

Oh my gosh I am so sorry that you had a bad experience when getting an ultra sound. That’s why I want to go into the medical field because I want to show others that not everyone is rude and wants to be there for their patient. I know that was hard and as someone who is planning on going into the medical field I am so sorry that person was rude no one should be treated like that. I know how it feels to be stressed for finals for no reason. I literally could have failed a final and still get an A, I really don’t understand why I got stressed, lol. How was the overnight oatmeal?

I’d be frustrated too. We didn’t have to get a 4D. But I was high risk and have like no pictures. They took several ultrasounds but refused to print them for me and it sucks so bad. I have like none.

Try baby waves in Columbus ga! They are Amazing I went at 31 weeks and at first the gave us trouble but the lady did everything to get him to move! Had me roll over for her, asked permission to tap my belly. They are very sweet and I 100% recommend!

Girl, you’re pregnant. That’s probably why your back is hurting!🥺 This was THE worst when I was around 28 weeks up until I had my son…he’s 4 months old now. You’re almost there! In the home stretch.😍 And I had no idea that 4D ultrasounds were a requirement. I’ve never heard that…how frustrating! By the time I went to get mine done w/ my boy, he was too big, so we couldn’t see anything either but he was totally healthy! Try not to stress. I’m sorry it’s been chaotic. Summer you looked so Stunning in your new dress not mention you’re just gorgeous... I truly hate that you didn’t get your 4D, and some people that work with the public aren’t a people person. My thing is these ultrasound techs work every day with pregnant Mommas and I know your baby isn’t the first too be in a ball position. Also sure they are taught what too do if the baby is like that, sounds like to me she just doesn’t like her job and there are people who would die too have her job! I would have asked up front if she was the only ultrasound tech just maybe someone could try even your dr could have came in there and showed her what to do, people kill me who act like that... But your not the only one with a bad experience! I wish I could tell you what happened with my daughter with her first pregnancy let’s just say this dr didn’t have any bed side manners and this Momma right here was beyond upset. Maybe when you have your daughter I’ll share with you what happen, all I can say is we serve a Mighty God He’s the reason my Jaylee Grace is here today and will be 16 on Monday the 9th...

I had a ultrasound appointment like that and i cried right there. She felt so bad but ma'am u were being so rude to me and I'm a emotional whale so please be nice to me haha! I'm sorry you had a bad experience and it's not your fault.

That’s super unprofessional of her to do that. When I went to mine, the lady helping me sat with me 2 hours to try and get results for us. She could have repositioned you or they should have also recommended you drink some water or something. I recommend finding another place. So sorry you had that happen.

Omg hearing that story really made me mad. How could they go to school and study that particular field and then treat patients like that. I would have definitely talked to a supervisor or someone in charge. That is absolutely ridiculous. But I’m sure she is just as pretty as her mama :)

This is not ok & as a healthcare professional, she should know better than to be so rude and mouthy. You need to contact administration. Just because she does this in her sleep, she needs to realize that this is a 1st for a lot of patients. 🤦🏻‍♀️
