Wow, compared to most places here in the US the prices in Tokyo are very low. I love how everything seems to be very clean and organized there and the people are quieter and more respectful. That's the cleanest and quietest McDonalds I've ever seen, doesn't even seem like a McDonalds haha
I found this channel several days ago. Very interesting content ;) I love how you show us normal life in Tokyo. In Poland we have similar prices, but ur fast food is cheaper. And better. And probably tastier. Thank you, greetings from Poland ;)
Thank you very much for the insights of the japanese way of life. Compared to Germany the prices for grocerys are very low. Vegetables and fruits are much cheaper in Germany. I am always amazed by the low prices in japanese Restaurants. Compared to Germany you will pay at least 5x more. Finally, thank you very much for your work, and please keep it up.
Great video, thank you 👍. Greetings from Bulgaria. Prices are mostly lower compared to my country, except for veggies and fruits 😢. I wish I lived in Japan 😂.
Very interesting video, thanks. We visited Japan during spring this year and had a wonderful experience. I am eagerly waiting to go back to Japan. We had this pre conceived notion that Japan is very expensive. I actually found that you can find reasonably priced hotels, public transport is inexpensive and amazing, taxis are expensive though. The prices at restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores are comparable with where I live. We found Shopping in Dotonburi - Osaka pretty reasonable. Uniqlo is too good, fantastic quality and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything my size as I am big built.
Thanks so much for sharing the prices of various items in Tokyo! It has been really helpful in planning my next trip to Japan around Christmas and New Year. I was especially happy to see that Nissin cooking oil is priced similarly to what I pay for it here. I bought three Uniqlo Iron-free shirts for 3,990 Yen each when I was in Japan last week, it’s been a game-changer for my laundry routine! I’m also glad you mentioned Hidakaya. I tried it last week and it was amazing! Definitely recommend it as an alternative to Ichiran.
Witam.
It was such a chill video! Could you also go to gyomu sometime only if you find time? I'm moving in a month, there's a little bit of price anxiety as in idk how expensive it will be. I will mostly be fine but would be nice to be able to save any significant sum.
Hellou from Barcelona Spain, Wow the prices are very low even in the convenince store, maybe the vegetales are a little bit even in prices... or some cleaning things but the Uniqlo clothes, some foods are cheaper in Japan!! And the most surprising for the price you pay in the 7eleven store for the big bottle of Starbucks coffe I pay a small one in a regular supetmarket!!!! Anyway thanks for share😊 waiting your next video Samurai Dad
The prices in Tokyo seem to be comparable to Northern Ireland. But for a big city those prices are very cheap. I went to Tokyo in 2017 and it was more expensive than those prices you showed me now I think. Love the videos keep up the hard work 🎉❤
7:29 in France, taxe it's 20%, for everything, and you have taxe on taxe yes it's possible, it's TVA, for exemple, you have a taxe on gasoline, and on this taxe(TIPCE) you add TVA ...
Good evening samurai father, prices in Milan and the surrounding area are expensive, here too we have various supermarkets and each one has its own work policy... we also have discounts where the prices are lower... seeing the video I have the impression that the 'Italy is more expensive...Dad Samurai do you watch Sumo? is very wonderful bye bye👋🇮🇹👱♀️🌍🇯🇵
Thank you for watching my video! Italy was the first overseas trip I took in my life. I watched an AC Milan match in Milan. It was the match where Inzaghi returned from injury, and there was a huge cheer when he appeared at the stadium. I used to watch sumo a lot when Takanohana, Wakanohana, Akebono, Musashimaru, and Asashoryu were active. I haven't been watching it much recently.
@@samurai-daddy Hi samurai dad Pippo Inzaghi is a good coach now he coaches Pisa in Tuscany...so have you been to the San Siro stadium⚽️⚽️how small the world is😃😃😃...I'm following the stable Futagoyama and I really like it. ..congratulations for your figure, you eat a lot, you're in excellent shape... I really like your videos.. I would also like to see what it means to go to the hairdresser or see some shops... in a comment they wrote that many of the videos proposed always talk about cooking, music with a heavy background... but thanks to your videos we can see real life Japanese different from Italian and it's nice to discover other cultures 😉 I have a question let me start by saying that I love animals ♥️ I have a dog that I adore I put him on my profile his name is Milo 😁 😁 do you have any dogs where do you take them how is the culture towards dogs? thanks again bye Federica 👱♀️🌍🇮🇹🇯🇵👋👋👋⚽️🐶🐶🐶
Italy was number one of the countries I've been to. I want to go back. I went to a cheap hair salon, and I've already released a quick video of my visit. I'm also planning to release videos of my visits to the hair salon in the future. I've never had a dog, but I do like them. I like small Shiba Inu dogs. Japanese people love dogs and cats like their own children.
Hi! Always love watching your videos! I'm 5 minutes in and I have two questions: What is the 'IC' payment through your phone? You use either your phone or a credit card for payments. How do you know which one to use when? Also, I was looking at everyone's shoes while you were on the train. When I was in college in a busy urban city with a metro, I saw back then a lot of commuters wore sneakers and changed into dress shoes at the office. Aren't you worried about wearing down your nice shoes walking so far in them? Why not wear sneakers and change them at the office? Is it just a North American thing 😅
Thank you for watching my video! There are IC cards that you can charge money to ride the train. They are called "SUICA" or "PASMO". These cards can be used not only to ride the train, but also to pay at convenience stores, restaurants, etc. This is "IC". The payment methods available at each store vary depending on the store, and the available payment methods are displayed at the store's cash register or ticket vending machine. You have a good idea. There may be a few people in Japan who commute to work in sneakers. I sometimes go to work in casual clothes, but when I do, I wear sneakers.
Wow…the prices in Hawaii are about 2-4 times higher except for the cup noodles. Your breakfast meal…for that price you would only get an egg and your ramen would be about $10-15 in Hawaii but the quality wouldn’t be as good I think. The prices vary for grocery because I’m not sure about weight and content of the product since it’s Japan brands but we are priced very high in Hawaii. I heard about the moon watching meal at McDonald’s…you didn’t get the adzuki pie? Thank you for sharing your time with us! Hope you had a good rest. 😴
@@samurai-daddy no it was Japan! 🤣 In Hawai’i we had taro pie (was purple and kind of like sweet potato) and we also have Haupia which is a coconut pudding pie …sometimes we have a guava pie with cream as well )
1 ay önce Shibuya'daydım.Çok sevdim.Tekrar gelmek isterdim.
Our convenience stores are much more expensive and lower quality than yours! Produce is all over the map, but your prepared food and seafood are less than half of my prices in New England
7:46 here in France, Big Mac cost 5,95€, basic hamburger it's 2,60€, cheeseburger 3,20€ and the basic menu big mac like you cost 8,95€ Nuggets per 5 dosen't exist here, per 4 4,30€ or 6 5,70€ or per 9 for 7€
We are so getting ripped off in the US. Coca Cola has a factory right here in Texas and a coke will cost $2.50 and in some places higher than that. Ridiculous
By france.. Regis, chef cuisinier
Bonjour.
Many Japanese workers tend to eat in the cafeteria at their company at discounted prices or their home-made meals but you mostly eat out at Mc Donalds, Noodle houses when you have breakfast or dinner. In previous clip you referred to Japanese stock market dip and I lost money in your investment so I wonder you recover the loss so far,
