Hi Nani-san! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. Yes, I was sooo scared when I watched myself cutting the pumpkin lol. By the way, it was so tasty. Oh, sorry about the gloves. When I water the veggies in the morning, it's for a short time and I'm lazy, so I don't put on gloves. But when I cultivate or do larger jobs in the garden, I do wear them 😆.

Hi Nagasaki-san - dont throw away your pumpkin seeds - just plant them in the garden in a vacant spot - they will grow quickly - if you dont want pumpkins to grow just use the pumpkin sprouts that grow in your miso soup - delicious and nutritious! Please keep us up to date with the Shofuku Temple restoration process - swould love to see more vid of that. Did you manage to track down the sharpening steel for your knives? Hi John-san! Thank you for your comment! It could be fun to plant the pumpkin seeds 😆. The restoration of Shofuku-ji temple will take a long time. I heard it will take 10 years and cost 1.85 billion yen... After sharpening with the whetstone again, the results were good, so I think I'll stick with the whetstone for now☺️

I am enjoying your videos! It reminds me of my life in Japan. Just at tip, but if you cut the kabocha in half sideways first it becomes a lot easier to cut because the knife won't get stuck and you have a lot more room to cut it vertically.

Приготовление чего-то вроде тыквенной каши с добавлением гренок звучит очень вкусно. Я хочу когда-нибудь попробовать приготовить его. В последнее время я постоянно готовлю мисо-суп, поэтому думаю, что мне нужно немного расширить свой кулинарный репертуар😂

(I’ll show myself out. 😅) Yeah, I remember getting fruits from some of my students at an elementary school I worked at. I was unfamiliar with the fruits, so I had to Google how to eat them. I can’t remember what fruits they were, but they tasted pretty good.
Nasu growing up nicely ! If you like soy milk and could use more compost, why not get a blender that can make soy milk? You can add various ingredients like dates too. I would always made a quick prayer to a Kannon statue I find. She is strict but a fair bodhisattva.

If you place your hard pumpkin in the microwave for a couple of minutes on high, it will be easier to remove seeds, cut, and peel. If you put your tofu in the soup and THEN add the miso after the tofu is heated up, you will not have to start heating it again. Doing it in reverse could cause the miso to lose its excellent digestive benefits.

ভাইয়া আপনি অনেক মিষ্টি। আমি দেখছি চিনি দুধ ছাড়া লাল চা খান। আমাদের বাংলাদেশে ও লাল চা খায় তবে চিনি দিয়ে মিষ্টি করে। আপনি চিনি ছাড়া চা কেমনে খান আমি জানি না। কিন্তু চায়ে চিনি বেশি না দিলে আমি খেতেই পারি না। ঘন গরুর দুধের ধোয়া উঠা বেশি চিনি দিয়ে চা কি দারুন লাগে খেতে। আপনি একবার গরুর দুধের মিষ্টি চ খেয়ে একবার চেষ্টা করতে পারেন ❤
